gardenmom5
dh and I walked past a car with the license plate "ravnclw" . . . . We had a chuckle. I told him there are quizzes online so you can find out what house you'd be in. dh: "Slytherin" . . . I confessed I'd already taken one. dh: "hufflepuff". yeah, how'd you know? dh: It's obvious. . . . you just are. (he's read the books with us as a family ONCE. He's seen the movies ONCE. we are not big into HP, and certainly haven't discussed it much around him.) I thought it was funny . . . 5
HomeAgain
Youngest ds took that quiz a few years ago and it sorted him into Hufflepuff. 😄 He was so proud of that until we debated the issue over dinner a few nights ago. This child is definitely not Hufflepuff. He could be Ravenclaw or maybe edge into Griffindor, and surrounds himself with Hufflepuffs, but feels none of the loyalty or desire to call out wrong doing. When we asked him which faction he would fall into he answered without hesitation, "oh, Erudite!" 2
purpleowl
I regularly wear Ravenclaw t-shirts, lol. And it's very common for my family to have discussions about which Hogwarts house various characters from other books or shows would be in.
Faith-manor
I am a Ravenclaw as is my youngest. Mark is Gryffindor and so is our middle son. Daughter is Hufflepuff, and eldest son is Slytherin. A quidditch game between all of us might be epic! 😁
dirty ethel rackham
I can't believe after all these years that I've never taken a sorting quiz. I've read the books a few times. Today, I sorted into Hufflepuff. I feel like I'm very Hermione, though.

I have always personally identified with Hermione, but my kids objected big time. They state that I am McGonagal--which I think it virtually the same thing, just a generational difference.

Xahm
My older two claim to be Hufflepuff. They love the idea of being loyal, hardworking, and sadly overlooked. I think they are pretty strongly Ravenclaw as they get great joy out of outwitting those around them. My youngest claims to love Slytherin, but he started claiming this at age three, so I'm pretty sure the eldest taught him to say this just so that she could watch people's reactions. ScoutTN
We have one of each: Dh: Hufflepuff Me: Ravenclaw Dd: Gryffindor Ds: Slytherin
MercyA
I'm a Ravenclaw and I'd say DH is, too. DD likes Slytherin best. She is a very good and kind person, but she likes their ambition and probably their cleverness.
