saraha
For New Years Day we are thinking of having a hot dog bar. We will have regular and vegetarian hot dogs, and the kids have suggested as the following: gold star chili, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, regular toppings like ketchup mustard and onions, shredded cheese. Please share any advice or toppings that have been winners. Thanks
DeainUSA
We had a hot dog food truck at a party. Fritos were a popular topping! We had a menu up with fun names of different combos to try.

Ottakee
We used to do this for teens from church and one big it was pairing them up with root beer floats.

Another great onion option for hotdogs (& burgers) is the French-fried onions from a bag…so good! Adds crunch and a nice oniony flavor. other options: dill relish, sweet relish, hot dog relish (like dill relish mixed w/mustard) hamburger relish (hot sauce based relish) jalapeños, pickle spears, hot mustard, brown mustard, taco sauce, BBQ sauce, red pepper jelly

Tina
Chicago style hot dogs also have sweet relish and banana peppers. Bonus if you can find the poppyseed buns. 😉
