Calizzy
I really didn’t need to buy any curriculum this year. The younger kids are reusing a lot of the stuff the older kids used, and some things we are just continuing from last year. I feel like I want to buy something special for our homeschool to get that “back to school” feeling. A new desk chair? Comb binder? What special splurge would you recommend? Ellie
What about a big wall map?
CTVKath
A new area rug? New art for the walls? Rearrange the school stuff and put the materials being reused into new containers or arrange them differently so they feel different? Or maybe something fun like a digital microscope with fill lights and a screen?
cintinative
This is a dangerous question on this board. LOL. I vote for a laser printer, if you don't have one. 😃 1

knitgrl
The Horrible Science set (20 books) has been a big hit here. I just bought it to have it around, and it was well worth it.
ScoutTN
A membership to a museum, zoo, science center, etc? Horrible Histories are a big hit here. Science kits or art supplies? Tinker Crate?
caffeineandbooks
A holiday booking for February, when the optimism of summer is a distant memory and you're fantasising about putting them on the big yellow bus 🤪 1
smfmommy
A game. We just bought Pass the Pig Party Edition. New boxes to hold their school work? Kind of like a new backpack.
2_girls_mommy
games are always good here and useful. The others are all great like a membership to a zoo or membership or something as well as a laser printer if you don't have one and it's in your budget. But those are big purchases, lol. We don't need anything new, not even supplies this year. My dd is getting a new water bottle from 5 Below to take to co-op, lol! That is all she needs and will feel like she is getting something new! BlsdMama
I vote for Trekking the National Parks, a local membership to something, celebratory breakfast the first day, Better Binder with DINOSAURS (found this last week, lol) and sparkly shoes for first day of school pictures... A Miss Frizzle-esque dress: An overstuffed chair, the set of Green Ember books, and this mug. You're welcome. 😉
