Probably not that unusual, because I've seen ads for them everywhere this year, but my world traveler is getting a scratch-off world map similar to this one.  She is hoping to backpack through Europe this summer, so she can scratch off some more countries when she gets home.

I hadn't seen these, so thanks for posting the link, plansrme.  My sister does something similar with a world map and push pins.

I hope your daughter has a wonderful backpacking trip.

Regards,

Kareni

This one isn't pretty, but will hopefully be functional. Nerdwax is beeswax and other stuff that you put on the nose piece of your glasses to help them stay on. My son marches and his glasses slide down all the time; my dd's glasses slid off so frequently at work she doesn't wear them anymore when she's working. I hope this will help them.

Just have them watch out for any dryness, itchiness, rash, etc.

My dd got cracked skin (like, eww! and ouch!) and an inflamed rash after diligently applying lip balm to keep her lips from drying out in the cold. As it turns out, she was reacting to the beeswax that is in some balms.

I hear you!

I saw the piano key leggings in your OP, Kareni, but the guy I have in mind to give the shirt to would not appreciate those!

They have sloth wrapping paper at Target.

You can't care, but I looked and I looked and I looked. OK, so twice I was in a big hurry and did look. Today I had time and I found not one but two styles. I settled on one and re-wrapped DH's gifts in the sloth gift wrap. (Wrapping over the existing wrapping paper, b/c I'm that lazy and bonus: it'll be twice as much work for him to open them, lol. )

Thanks for telling me about sloth gift wrap's being at Target!

That's actually totally awesome.

Plus, the page mentions it can be used for gaffer's tape too, which is something I know Irish Dancers use on their shoes (maybe other dancers too?).

I thought the refilling directions were interesting, too.

I could see this making a useful graduation gift ....

Kareni

I can't remember if I saw it here (maybe even this thread :/) but I'd love to have this subscription for a murder mystery box. I don't know how adult it is for those of you with teens who might enjoy it as well.

Ooh, that looks like fun.  (Feel free to invite me over if such a box arrives so that I can read over your shoulder ....)

Hello there, Wishes ~

I've heard nothing but praise for Kiwi Crates but had never heard of Cooper Kits.  Thanks for posting the links!

Oh, I wish I could find this IRL. I'd hate to pay for shipping for this. I sorta kinda have one roll of gift wrap assigned to each family member. I would get this for DH b/c he loves this commercial:

I have a Christmas sloth rubber stamp. I got it a couple years ago and (some stamper) people hated it then. It is funny how things get trendy and start popping up everywhere, like with my Merry Everything stamp. That is a couple years old, too.

Think a a mass market item but it tickled me so much I had to share...

There is a Minions Operation game! We love the Minions here so I had to get it.

It is on Amazon for $15.

I remember loving Operation as a child.

I found this Amazon link (but the price may have crept up since you posted) ~ https://www.amazon.com/Operation-Despicable-Silly-Skill-Game/dp/B00ARH9DPY

The Target price appears to be $14.99 at the moment ~ https://www.target.com/p/operation-despicable-me-board-game/-/A-51319059#lnk=sametab

I bought this the other day for dh:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/240287044/50-states-photo-map-usa?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=picture%20map&ref=sc_gallery_1&plkey=707db6b449ddf3124aa2670df09efb4bf321cb94:240287044

The company has templates on their website to print the photos in the correct shapes. I've printed a few, but dh has better pictures than I do. I know he will love it.

What a fun gift!

As someone who lived in Rhode Island for several years, I can't help but wonder how tiny a photo one would have to use for that particular state....

Kareni
