klmama
I want to rent a movie for tomorrow night that's funny, positive, happy, etc. PG or even G so we can all relax from an already stressful week (and it's only Monday). Thanks for any suggestions!

creekland
Ever After, Overboard, Across the Hedge, The Parent Trap, Secondhand Lions, Bears, Monkey Kingdom, The Princess Bride Overboard is one we haven't seen in a long time! Your post brought back fond memories. ;) And yes, it belongs on this list - along with Secondhand Lions though since that one deals with a boy who has a crummy mama, it might not meet the requirements of being totally happy. It's a great movie for kids at school in similar situations though (they get enthralled by it), so that fact certainly doesn't make it bad.

ScoutTN
Homeward Bound is hilarious! We all know every word and still laugh through the whole thing. Other faves here: Secretariat Babe Night at the Museum The Sound of Music (long in the uncut version) The Sword in the Stone Roman Holiday
Cindy in FL.
My kids, who are basically all grown ups, and I watched Babe recently and we loved it. I recall Milo and Otis being funny as well.
