This didn't happen. I just didn't have time to clean it all out and make it. I got a ton of things done yesterday including putting all the Christmas stuff away, so today should be easier. To do: Dust and mop School with boys Figure out driving tonight with ds1 Other house chores Nap Dd2 to hs practice Dd2 to club practice Pick up ds2 from aikido All might change if it really starts snowing... But 24 yo son left so we have no diversion to keep us from at least attempting to start some aspect of school up. A.M. Copywork That might be it for formal stuff. 18 yo's CC classes don't start until next week, while all of 15 yo's start up this week, so things are a bit uneven. 15 yo needs to do math homework 15 yo to math tutor 15 yo to voice teacher (gotta remember check!) 18 yo has nothing to do and is bored out of his skull. [done] Checked emails and such. [done] Took out the garbage. [done] Made a reservation at Kalahari for kid's birthday. [done] Debating whether to sneak a nap now or later. [no nap.] Have lots of work to do - accounting for about 70 entities over the next couple weeks, for starters. [did some] During work breaks, get my files / papers in order from the year-end craziness. [did some] A little reading and exercise. [did some] Figure out when our pets and pinewood derby cars are returning from the family. [pets and cars are home] Should start the laundry. [last load is in dryer] Should start straightening up the house, part of which is still trashed with Christmas presents. [started] Should get our calendar up to date - scouts, basketball, etc. [nope] Need to figure out my kid's health - does she need a doctor or not ... should we try seeing the chiro again or not .... [deferred - kid seems better, but not totally] Kids will have a ton of homework tonight. [done] One kid has gymnastics tonight. [done] Need to make an emergency Amazon order for my kid's birthday, which is Friday. [done] Kids need to wash hair and get school things ready for tomorrow. [mostly done] Read-aloud? I don't know how this will turn out, but it was the easiest gravy I have ever made. And that is saying a lot because I'm not good at gravy. I'll link the recipe below. The method of putting the flour and other ingredients in a closed container and shaking is what I believe made the difference for me.
