Rich with Kids
Some of you mentioned drinking games during the last debate. I think this sounds like a fine idea! Debates make me uncomfortable. I hate conflict. So, what are we playin'?

Alenee
I won't be playing however I think counting how many times McCain says "my friends..." and how many times Obama says "it's time for change!" are two very good ones.
AnotherE
Well, if the object is to get rip-roaring drunk, I'd say take a sip every time "the economy" is mentioned. If you want to stay stone-cold-sober, take a drink every time someone says "I concede the point to my opponent". :D

elegantlion
How about I skip the debate completely and just drink? :D I'm enjoying a nice B&J Margarita cooler. I could take a drink each time dh changes the channel, or each time ds states he is bored. No, I think we'll stick with finishing this one for tonight. LG Gone Wild
um, let's see.... middle class tax cut $250,000 95% lobbyists Main Street "I'm gonna take on corporate America and Wall Street" bailout You know, it would just be easier if I drank every time I felt like snorting in response to a candidate's answer. Jami
No drinking here. ;) But if I were playing, at this point I would have wanted to choose "Joe the Plumber" and I'd be tanked by now!

Zelda
I started drinking as soon as it started and I'm not stopping until November 5. Its not so much a game as it is self-medicating but I can't recommend it too highly.
abbeyej
Well, an alternative to the drinking game is to play this Presidential Debate Bingo!

partyof5
When Obama says "Look..." (pause) when he starts a statement it makes me want to drink! ;) Not sure why that one gets me going but it always has. For McCain, it's "my friends" but he seems to be holding that one back more tonight than normal... or perhaps I've already gone beyond tipsy!? Either way, I'm still awake and being mildly entertained by this debate so it's all good...

Hey I'll join you! I can't wait for LOST to start. I just want to add that I took a swig each time Obama smiled and shook his head (in agreement) with McCain.
