Popular Post Jean in Newcastle
Ds19 came home from college yesterday and told me that both his pre-calculus prof and his humanities prof said to compliment me on how well I taught him. I'm not here to brag, though I am happy about their validation. I'm here to encourage the "little guy", which is what I consider myself. I'm not the most rigorous homeschooler out there. I have often felt more intimidated than not on the high school board. But I worked hard. I was consistent. I tried different approaches to try to solve the problems that came up esp. in homeschool high school. I gave my son time to mature since he is 2e. I sent Jann in TX a thank you a while back because she taught ds through Algebra 2 and he placed exactly where he should have after that - into college level pre-calculus. So anyway. . . I just wanted to share that "slow and steady" can win a race. . . eventually.

MysteryJen
As my dd1 says when a compliment or good grade comes her way, "Homeschoolers for the win!" Congratulations, Jean and well done.
