Lanny
When I came to the web page with the list of WTM Forums, the below ad was in the upper right hand corner. I do not know which company/school designed that ad, but misspelling the word "Finish" would not give one much confidence in the quality of their courses. Finish or Finnish? High School Online Self-paced online courses help you Finnish High School your way.

Slache
I defunetlee uhgree!Don't do this. I'm dyslexic and this was just mean. (I'm being sarcastic, although it did take me like 30 seconds to figure out what this was supposed to say).

alisoncooks
Well, they did say "Finnish High School YOUR WAY"....perhaps that entails spelling things how one wants...;)
Jean in Newcastle
If it a WTM ad, the kind thing to do would be to post this information on the Site News and Discussions subforum where OtherJohn can see it and fix it.
Guest
I LOVE the Finnish model. But I'm pretty sure if I did it "my way" I'd screw it up...? Wait, you mean that wasn't what it was taking about?
mathmarm
If you think that is bad, you should see the posters that went up around campus after Spring Break: "Haved unportected sex? Get tested for free."
Gil
I defunetlee uhgree! "Definnitely", the word is "definnitely". Sheesh, mathmarm, get it right. :D

I don't believe it was for the WTM Academy; it was just a pop-up ad.

trulycrabby
Well, we sure are talking about them, so maybe those ad writers know more than we think they do. I can see them brainstorming: "Hey Stan, wanna drive a bunch of homeschool moms bonkers so they will talk about us in their forum?"
Susan Wise Bauer
It was a pop-up ad from Google ads that has nothing to do with us and can only be seen if you're not logged in. However....bleah. We can selectively block companies from placing ads through Google on our site, and this seems like a good candidate. Slache
Has your husband been raiding my dog treats? No. He works with a Cambodian and they're always trading lunches.

Lanny
If it a WTM ad, the kind thing to do would be to post this information on the Site News and Discussions subforum where OtherJohn can see it and fix it. No it wasn't a WTM ad. I clicked on it last night, out of curiosity, and it was a "School" based in Florida.
Susan Wise Bauer
Then the title of this thread isn't so accurate or nice, is it? No, and it makes the Academy look bad for no reason, so I edited it. (I'm pretty sure that wasn't the OP's intent, but anyway.)
