AimeeM Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Totally, but unintentionally, vague if you haven't read my past posts about this particular sister... but she is leaving their state (where she lives close to my mother and our other sister) next week with her children and New Dude. Permanently. As in, moving. Blessedly, while in prison, her ex (now being properly medicated and receiving mental health support/care) was able to refuse to sign the papers necessary for the children to get passports, so at least she isn't able to take them out of the country (which was their initial plan). My niece doesn't want to leave. She's upset. My mother is beside herself. I've checked as I was advised to do and that is not a darn thing I can do about any of it (the situation as a whole). So there's my vent for the night. Other than that, I spent a lovely evening outside with my own minions, swinging, playing ball, and catching lightning bugs... and wishing my niece and nephew could do the same. Preferably HERE.
