KungFuPanda
I ordered a heated mattress cover and put it on our bed four days ago. He hasn't noticed. It has two controls so I can heat only my side. He just doesn't get cold so he doesn't understand me. Flannel sheets are overkill for him no matter how cold it is. Our house is kept cool because everyone but me likes it that way. I'm just sick to death of layering 24/7. I haven't worn my flannel pjs in days. It's been glorious. I'm baffled that he hasn't noticed at all. It's not like he hasn't crossed the line onto my side. My theory is that everything feels warm to him all the time so he doesn't read subtle temperature changes like I do. I keep it on the lowest setting, but it makes all the difference in the world. I wonder how long it'll take him to notice?
Jean in Newcastle
He just thinks you're hot. :001_tt1: :D
KungFuPanda
He just thinks you're hot. :001_tt1: :D Let's go with that! Although I suspect the absence of flannel has him dazed and confused.
Farrar
Okay, folks, place your bets! I say the weather will get warmer in a month and he'll notice when you take it off the bed. He'll be like, wait, is something different about the bed?

Miss Tick
Haha. We had the opposite problem. I got tired of folding all his extra blankets, so technology has now solved my problem. The future is now!
Elisabet1
First time you have TeA so he crosses on to your side! My husband and I each have our own different blankets and such. Same sheets on the bed. But the blankets are different.
Luckymama
I love, love, love the electric mattress pad with dual controls. In our case, dh bought it for an anniversary gift :D I think he was getting tired of me wearing layers to bed
lmrich
I have three blankets on my side. He often sleeps on top of the covers!
Xuzi
How did I not know about heated mattress covers?! I'm also the one in our marriage who's always cold, wearing flannel pj's, wool socks, and 4 layers of blankets and sheets, while he's sleeping with just the top sheet. I need to look into these! momofkhm
Yes yes! Do tell where you bought it! A link would be wonderful! I'd heard of them but didn't know they had dual zones.
Trilliums
Hmm, should we start placing bets for when he notices? I am thinking if he hasn't noticed by now, he won't notice until you mention it or he washes the bedding. Does it have ample padding so that you cannot feel the wiring inside? elegantlion
Deceiving your husband?! :w00t: Do you by chance wear yoga pants too?
Delighted3
I love, love, love, my heated mattress pad. I bought ours at Target. I have also seen them at Kohl's. Can't recommend one highly enough. Joy
Luckymama
Dh bought ours from LandsEnd. I doubt he did any comparison shopping  You cannot feel any wires at all inside the mattress pad. Ours has an auto-shut-off after so many hours. We preheat the bed for half an hour on high. Our bedroom is really, really cold (above the garage). I am able to sleep as nature intended with just the mattress pad and flannel sheets ;) Winter teA brewing is much more enjoyable now! KungFuPanda
First time you have TeA so he crosses on to your side! My husband and I each have our own different blankets and such. Same sheets on the bed. But the blankets are different. Nope. Didn't notice. I think he was distracted by all the exposed skin. I just bought a sunbeam brand from Amazon. The wires haven't bothered me. I can feel them if I rub my hand on the sheets, but they're not big enough to interrupt my sleep . . . smaller than electric blanket wires. It does have a preheat button and shuts off automatically so you can't forget.
