Night Elf
Is this card game fun? Would it appeal to teens and adults? Is one version better than another? I'm thinking of getting Zombie Fluxx for ds18 but it would mostly be DH and me that play with him. I'm looking for just one more gift for ds. Harriet Vane
It's random and fun and hilarious. Both of my teens love it and regularly play it with their friends. Another great option is Set.
catz
We love flux too. It is super easy to learn, so it is easy to play with new people to the game. It is fun and face paced. I live that it is so portable too. We take it traveling quite a bit.
*Lulu*
Yes- it is a super fun game! The zombie edition is my personal favorite.
Amira
We love it because it's fun and flexible. It's easy to teach to other people, you can play with two people or a group, the individual games are usually short so people can come and go if they need to, and it's unpredictable. Night Elf
Thanks! I'm going to get Zombie Fluxx.
LostSurprise
If you have people who need strategy over luck and silliness, then Fluxx is not a good game. If you have someone who has difficulty with changing rules (the rules don't stay the same) or someone who gets frustrated with big changes in the rules, not a good game. Most people play for fun. The rule changes are not a big deal. Some kids even thrive on the chaos.

They are THE most competitive game players, and that's what they want to do with the kids. Last time they visit, the kids pulled out Fluxx and MIL absolutely hated the random-ness of it. It was great.

Farrar
If anyone wants one even more random and crazy, they also make a game called We Didn't Playtest This at All which is bizarre and fun.

Mrs Mungo
It's fantastic fun, we love the Monty Python version. This is my favorite one. I always play the outrageous accent rule while dh is always trying to get rid of it, lol!

We have multiple versions, the kids love the pirate because they can get DH to talk like a pirate the entire time. Even without playing the talk like a pirate rule. Kareni
We enjoy Fluxx, too. We've found though that people seem either to love it or hate it! Regards, Kareni
