Jackie
History Odyssey is lit based, especially if you add in any of the supplemental reading suggested.

IfIOnly
MFW is not literary based! I'm going to lit. based history, as well, plus MOH and SOTW CDs in the car. :)
Momling
I just align our literature with whatever we're studying in history. It's not hard and I find it satisfying to only use books I find interesting or important and to skip others.

happypamama
History Odyssey uses SOTW/Usborne, and Kingfisher/Story of Mankind as spines but uses a lot of literature too. Many whole books are read.
jdewitte
I've tried Sonlight and TOG but am loving Biblioplan!! They have a great book selection, the read aloud choices are wonderful, and it's flexible and easy to use. I'm surprised it isn't more popular.
