Liz CA Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 My family and I have been most thankful for the Hive's help, thoughtfulness, and prayers, and wanted to make sure that each person who helped in any way knew that we appreciated it very much! I have not posted an update recently as I haven't had the time or any news of import; however, I will try to update soon. Here is a little update she sent just now: Things are both good and rather challenging. Ds is doing well and I hope to post about him soon; he will be getting more chemo this month. Dh and I are hanging in there. We are now four months behind in most bills - searching for ways to meet the need, praying, seeking direction. A fairly new friend recently asked if she could contribute to a yard sale fund raiser - she had a friend with gobs of stuff that she was about to toss (toss!) - long story short - she gave it to us - it's nice yard sale stuff - friend also added to it, plus her daughter, and they have more - we are adding to it and are planning a yard sale later this month - trying to work around my work schedule and ds' chemo dates. THANK YOU for the prayer support! I know that it is God and the prayers of His people that are getting us through! As many of you know, eaglei has no computer other than a work computer and now and then she has permission to use it for private purposes.
