H.S. Burrow
What y'all got? And no, I'm still not worried about global warming. Friday - Monday we had 102 - 103 with heat indexes of 108. Today it has been a rather cool 98! With a breeze! DS just turned 10 and 10 years ago we had the SAME weather!?! So, no, I'm not too concerned with global warming. Seems rather like a 10 year cycle to me!:)

elegantlion
Well the tropical storm cooled things off quite a bit. It's now in the 80's. It has been over 100 for the last couple of weeks.
Rich with Kids
It's 82 here, thanks to Edouard. It's 72 in the house. We cooled it waaaay down last night in case we lost electricity.
Cricket
I'm in AZ and it is 102 outside; 80ish inside. And today's a cool day!:) Isn't it sad when 102 feels cool?
GailV
96 with a heat index of 106. You could drink the air, it's so heavy. Heaven knows you can barely breath it. (Really, about the breathing -- I just jumped out of my car in a parking lot because this elderly gentleman looked like he wasn't going to make it to his car -- his O2 tank was low and he was soooo hot. I told him I was standing there 'til I saw him get in his car and go. Which he did. Hope he made it home okay.) But, hey, by Thursday the high is supposed to be 81. I'm thinking there's gonna be a thunderstorm involved in that ....
Laurel
Only 100 here. After a few days of 105+ it feels rather cool. I am going to Maine/Mass/NH next week, and I cannot wait! 85 degree days, here I come!
JenneinCA
Yahoo says 103 outside. I really don't know. I am not going out there! It is about 82 inside and the ac is working hard.
Quiver0f10
93 with a heat index of 101. It's nice and cool inside though :D
MNClaire
A nice, dry 86 degrees with a slight breeze. Very nice. But then again, we pay for nice summers in the winter!!
shalom22
We are counting our blessing thanks to Eddie sliding through. Not too hot but still humid. We only got some rain, no wind to speak of.
Parrothead
Ummm You hot people are not going to like my answer. It is August and it didn't break 70* all day. I've got on a sweatshirt because I was cold this morning. But it has finally stopped raining! At least for a little while.
Mama Lynx
A fabulous 81 degrees :) Sorry, gals. I don't think I'm moving back to Texas. I like not having three-digit temps too much.
kristavws
Well, we are suppose to hit 92 today, which I wouldn't view as a big deal except for the fact that we DO NOT have A/C. Thank God we only get into the 90s a couple of times a year. Krista
Connie1961
Here in Texas, my central air never kicks off. All day long it runs until about 8:30 at night. Then it will start kicking on and off. I dread my electric bill each month and am so looking forward to fall!!!
LaMere Academy
96 here in Florida, with heat index they say it feels like 105, tomorrow will be the same. We went to the pool today and I could feel my skin just burning under the sun's glare.
Miss Marple
Right there with ya'! I just got home after running errands. The thermometer in the car (which registers outside temp) read 106 degrees. I can't believe it! But by the time I got out of the center of town and onto our country roads, it read 101 - PHEW! My hydrangea is sagging. Desert Rat
Unbelievably, we're only at 105 and stormy here. Not bad. At least I'm not complaining today! :o)
