lavender's green
I honestly might wet myself if I saw that in real life, with no warning!
creekland
It's a neat event to have lived through and tell folks about, but I'm positive it'd be super scary when in the present! It's also a reminder that one never knows what tomorrow may bring...

ChristusG
I would have wet my pants! First thought would have been that it was the sound of a middle exploding and that we were under attack or something!
Unicorn.
Incredible! First, I think I just learned how to swear in Russian! And second, I wonder how many people thought they were being bombed?
Mom in High Heels
We're currently studying space and 2 days there happened to be a show on NGC about the possibility of things hitting the Earth. Indy was freaking out, but the scientists on the show kept talking about how rare it was that something large actually hits. This morning when we saw it on the news, I thought Indy was going to have a heart attack!

Mandylubug
Is it sad that I was slightly excited when I saw this on the news and called the kids in to watch the news, too? We start our study of Astronomy next week, have a field trip to a space museum next weekend planned, etc. Hello, good intro!
