I know it's early, but I'm thinking about names for the twins...

Recommended Posts

These are my kids' names now: Danielle, Abigail, Jacob, Nate, Sammy & Lily.

We don't know boy/girl yet... so I'm trying to come up with 2 girl names & 2 boy names. So far, I'm pretty sure I like the name Seth.

Any other suggestions? Our last name is long and starts with an "N".

Thanks! :)

I put your kids' names into nymbler.com, where you can put names you like (or have used) and it suggests other names that "go" with them.

The ones I liked, with Seth, are:

Seth & Noah

Seth & James

Seth & Jack

Seth & Ava

Seth & Anna

Seth & Ruthie

Ruthie & Anna

Anna & Ava (too matchy for my tastes, actually)

Ruthie & Ava

My own twins' names are Charlie and Hazel, which I think are adorable. ;)

The boys would have been Ainsley and Genevieve but, you know, they're boys. So, they're Holden and Quinn. :D

Twin naming was so hard! Everything was either too close or went together in an odd way. For instance, my husband was quite taken with the name Aidan, but we couldn't very well name the children Aidan Quinn, could we? Nor, of course, would we want to name them Aidan and Holden. It was quite a process.

I had a total histerectomy last November at 37 and am unable to ever have a girl.

I would be most honored if you considered Veda Joy for a girl. I second the vote for Kenneth as a boy's name and suggest the middle name of James. That was my maternal grandfather's name.

Another option, if you haven't already, is to use the middle names of the grandparents.
