Denise in Florida
I remembered some of those from when I saw them the first time - very powerful. Some of them I had not seen before - I'm glad I got the chance to see them now. Thank you.
Alphabetika
#8 makes me cry. Beautiful. #21 gives me shivers. I love how many of these depict people showing others mercy and comfort. ETA: If you go to the link provided with #8, the stories and photos are incredible. Edited June 3, 2012 by Alphabetika

posybuddy
Gosh, I am blubbering mess and I'm not even all the way through these amazing pictures, but I have to pull myself together for a meeting, heh. Thank you for sharing - I will be back later with kleenex to see the rest.
MyThreeSons
Thank you for sharing this. I've seen many before, but some are new to me. A couple I'm surprised aren't there: the Napalm girl (sorry, don't know how else to describe it), and one from the Kent State shootings. pqr
Nice selection, choosing must have been incredibly difficult. I had expected the Hindenburg photo as well as the weeping man on the death of Roosevelt. The Embassy in Saigon, the mutilated Afghan girl, something from Rwanda, the Wall coming down and the first man on the moon were also ones that I thought might make the list.
