Halcyon
Just reviewing DS' work from today. He was asked to write sentences, filling in the blank with a direct object(s). He wrote: "We always eat toenails and snot for breakfast." "Mario collects spiders, skulls and hairs." "Grandma plants venus flytraps, daisies, and crypts in her garden." "Bob wants an axe, a club, and a sword for his birthday." Niiiiiiiiice.

Belacqua
Those are direct, all right! Much like playing MadLibs with a boy...usually pretty gruesome.

angela in ohio
"We always eat toenails and snot for breakfast." "Mario collects spiders, skulls and hairs." "Grandma plants venus flytraps, daisies, and crypts in her garden." "Bob wants an axe, a club, and a sword for his birthday." The daisies seem out of character. How did he let that one slip through? I would write "Everyone knows toenails are dinner food!" across the top of the page. :D

Critterfixer
I would write "Everyone knows toenails are dinner food!" across the top of the page. No, no, breakfast! In a bowl with a side of ghost and jam.
