Sparkle
Not too old at all. I was just a few weeks shy of 39 when I had my last baby. Congratulations!
aprilleigh
My mother was 38 when she had her youngest, and I was the same age when I had my first. Had it been in the cards I would have been happy to have another (two months modified bed rest and 5 years without conceiving again changed that plan, but I'm okay with it). I personally thought there were lots of advantages to being an older mom, and I still think so 5 years later. Enjoy it!
Joyofsixreboot
I was 44when the last was born. You're a baby. Congrats!
NanceXToo
Nope! I turned 38 last month and I'm in my 5th month of trying. Wish me luck! And congrats! :)
JenC3
Nope, not too old. Congratulations! Here's a question for you...would you rather be a new mommy at 39 or a grandmother????? Lol! No! It's just been weird seeing on FB all these old friends from HS whose children graduated this year. This 4th baby will be our last. I told my almost 8 yr old last night and the look on her face was awesome. She's thrilled!

FiveOaksAcademy
No, not too old. I had one at 39. My close friend is trying to get pregnant at 42!! I don't know if I could do that, though.
LindaOz
I say if you're not to old to get pregnant, you're not to old to be pregnant :D :iagree: This is exactly what I think too!! :)

SnowWhite
Not at all! I was 38.5 when Gabriel was born. My best birth experience ever. I wouldn't want to do it again now, at 40, but would not rule it out if a little surprise came our direction (totally unexpectedly!)
MrsJewelsRae
My friend and her mom got pg at the same time, my friend was 25 and it was her first, her mom got pg with her 8th quite by surprise and she was 49 when she gave birth to a very healthy baby boy who is now 7! Tarreymere
Oh heck no! My youngest birth child was born when I was 42, and we haven't given up on another one quite yet (though it is pretty unlikely since I am 46). I am now raising my grandson (3) and my granddaughter (one year in September) so in a way my youngest child was born when I was 45, really. :001_smile: Enjoy!
