Okay so 38 not too old to be PG right?

Recommended Posts

My mother was 38 when she had her youngest, and I was the same age when I had my first. Had it been in the cards I would have been happy to have another (two months modified bed rest and 5 years without conceiving again changed that plan, but I'm okay with it).

I personally thought there were lots of advantages to being an older mom, and I still think so 5 years later. Enjoy it!

Nope, not too old.

Congratulations!

Here's a question for you...would you rather be a new mommy at 39 or a grandmother?????

Lol! No! It's just been weird seeing on FB all these old friends from HS whose children graduated this year. This 4th baby will be our last. I told my almost 8 yr old last night and the look on her face was awesome. She's thrilled!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :grouphug:

And you're doing what I hope to do within the next 12 months and I'm turning 40 this fall. We'll see... But I RELALY want to do this one more time. So nope, you're not too old. 50 might be pushing it a little... :D

Oh heck no! My youngest birth child was born when I was 42, and we haven't given up on another one quite yet (though it is pretty unlikely since I am 46). I am now raising my grandson (3) and my granddaughter (one year in September) so in a way my youngest child was born when I was 45, really. :001_smile:

Enjoy!
