phathui5
It's official! Dh and I have decided that I am going to midwifery school! I'm applying to the National MMidwifery Institute to pursue CPM certification :) Also, I had the honor of catching my first baby yesterday! I was at a birth and the midwife asked my if I wanted to catch :) I got to be the one to catch and hand mom her baby. It was the most amazing experience ever. Veritaserum
Studying my Neonatal Resuscitation workbook this week. On Saturday, I'll be traveling to New York City to take Karen Strange's Neonatal Resus class :) I've heard rave reviews about her classes. :) I worked as an assistant midwife for a short stint. I'm not interested in having that much responsibility. ;) But I'm glad some people are. :) CBE is more my speed (taught NCB classes for 8 years.)
