Help...Need advice on removing very soiled bed sheet...

Recommended Posts

My dd threw up on her bedsheet a week ago. My dh did a quick clean and hosed it off outside. He put it in a bag....I told him not to do this b/c I might forget. Well, sure enough I forgot and now there is mildew/mold spores on the sheet.

It's been 8 days since she soiled her sheet and it was in a bag.

Is there a way to remove this problem??

HELP! Sheryl <><

I would toss it.

I had a similar thing happen when my dh took one of my sons, who was 12 at the time, to Asia with him. He threw up on his jeans after the flight on the ride to the hotel. They put them in a bag and brought them home 14 days later! EEWWWW. I never opened the bag.

I would pick it up and toss it in the garbage.

If I HAD to keep it because she only had one sheet and I couldn't afford anything else, I would buy bleach, fill the bag with water and bleach and pinch mu nose while I washed it, then stick it on the sanitary cycle in the wash machine.
