sheryl
My dd threw up on her bedsheet a week ago. My dh did a quick clean and hosed it off outside. He put it in a bag....I told him not to do this b/c I might forget. Well, sure enough I forgot and now there is mildew/mold spores on the sheet. It's been 8 days since she soiled her sheet and it was in a bag. Is there a way to remove this problem?? HELP! Sheryl <><
bkpan
Sorry, I would toss it. Not worth it.
Pink Fairy
Truth? I'd throw it out.
Mom2absh
It's growing things now . I'd throw it out... J (Who has also forgotten similarly-soiled items stored in a similar way - eeww!)
nmoira
You're at a place of no return with this sheet.
In The Great White North
Definitely toss it. Without opening the bag.

Tap
Definitely toss it. Without opening the bag. I could not agree more. Although, I figure you already did to know the condition. Tossssss it!
Laurie4b
Is there a way to remove this problem?? Throw it away. If you really want to, you could bleach it, but since it's already in the bag...
Julie in CA
:iagree: TOSS IT! Sheets are pretty cheap...I don't think you could pay me enough to open that bag...:ack2:
QueenCat
Toss it.... I doubt you could ever get all the mold spores out. The cost of washing it many times in HOT water is likely the cost of a new cheap sheet, and less time.
MamaT
I would toss it. I had a similar thing happen when my dh took one of my sons, who was 12 at the time, to Asia with him. He threw up on his jeans after the flight on the ride to the hotel. They put them in a bag and brought them home 14 days later! EEWWWW. I never opened the bag. abbeyej
It's unanimous. Toss it. *Don't*open*the*bag*!
ereks mom
Throw it away. If you really want to, you could bleach it, but since it's already in the bag... :iagree: :
ChemMommy
I don't care if money is tight. A cheap sheet set or a replacement fitted sheet from Goodwill is cheaper than the soap/hot water/odor issues!
dangermom
Yeah, that sheet is not worth keeping. Tell your husband to go buy a new one.
EarleneW
:iagree: Definitely toss it. Without opening the bag.
justamouse
I would pick it up and toss it in the garbage. If I HAD to keep it because she only had one sheet and I couldn't afford anything else, I would buy bleach, fill the bag with water and bleach and pinch mu nose while I washed it, then stick it on the sanitary cycle in the wash machine.
