  1. They can try a blood patch to seal the leak where the spinal fluid is coming out. If you get a spinal headache with an epidural, it is usually bad bc the epidural needle is bigger than the spinal needle.
  2. Stuff men hate Sydney Morning Herald South Memphis Hamburghut Supposedly monkeys haggle Sunrise Miraculous Harmony...that is my Daughter's name. She was born in a yurt.
  3. It's bad bc you went cold turkey. Hopefully, you won't go thru something so emergent but if it happens again, you can ask for caffeine at the hosptial. If you slowly cut back on the coffee, you won't go thru this.
  4. I'm sorry, Lisa. It is so thoughtful of you to remember others even amidst of your own family's struggles. I hope your dear child is OK now.
  5. I was thinking caffeine withdrawal before you even mentioned it. I'd drink the Pepsi. Stir it up really well to flatten it a bit and maybe it won't be so bad on your throat. I'd rather have a sore throat than a caffeine withdrawal headache. Then call your doc JIC. That will guarantee the Pepsi will do the trick! Feel better! :grouphug:
  6. Aww...I'm tickled pink! (MBM inspired me!)
  7. Have you seen the Silver Needle store? They have sooooo much stuff. What I like is that you can pick up a set of seasonal charts and then make a few and change them seasonally. So if you have a place to hang something, you could do a summer, a fall, a winter and a spring picture. http://cloudwww.thesilverneedle.com/seasonal.php
  8. Daydream, reminisce, make plans, make lists, enjoy the white noise and vibration of the vehicle... I love long car drives.
  9. ......aaaaaannnnnndddddd??? :D
  10. Yeah, I agree. I think people (and not just here) are referencing Shawshank bc it is more recent and more well known among younger generations. Plus, it is also a very popular movie that many people include on favorite movie lists. Shawshank has a 9.3 rating on imdb and Alcatraz has a 7.6.
  11. I'm glad they caught it. They call high blood pressure the silent killer. I'd be worried about how long this went on and how much damage has been done.
  12. For anyone who was concerned about the girl who ran away, she's been found safe. Thank goodness. I hope she can get some help. http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/general-news/20150608/family-missing-san-marino-student-found-safe
  13. The news I'm hearing has specified it was NOT a corrections officer (guard) but a worker who has since been relieved of her job.
  14. According to reports, no one has ever escaped from the maximum security section of this facility. I can understand that it might not be a big deal somewhere else where breakouts happen occasionally. I think the prisoners and circumstances of this breakout tend to explain the interest.
  15. Oh, I'm not the food police! I eat my share of unhealthy stuff. I was sharing what we usually get when go out and why.
  16. Oh dear God. That poor girl. :crying: I hope she gets safely home and finds some peace.
  17. All I heard about the test was there was a question that referenced the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. So we had to watch it on Sunday. DS probably wouldn't have noticed any timing situation problems.
  18. It's OK. The escape was so outrageous you'd think people who committed such serious crimes would not have the circumstances to engineer such an escape.
  19. You're bad...but yes, they are murderers. "Sweat, 34, is serving a sentence of life without parole after he was convicted of first-degree murder for killing a sheriff's deputy in Broome County, N.Y., on July 4, 2002. Matt, 48, is serving a sentence of 25 years to life for the kidnapping, dismemberment, and killing of his former boss in 1997."

  21. They used tools to dig a hole in their cell wall and then crawled through some other stuff. WTH? I'll try to find a link. http://blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org/inbox/2015/06/06/how-did-two-deadly-felons-escape-clinton-dannemora-prison-let-us-show-you/ UPDATE JUNE 26, 2015 Update: One fugitive is dead (the one who tortured and killed his elderly ex-employer) and one (the state trooper murderer) is still at large. Focus is on the Malone, NY area. Malone is the former home of Almanzo Wilder, husband of Laura Ingalls Wilder. You can visit his family museum. Might want to wait until they catch the fugitive first. http://www.almanzowilderfarm.com/
  22. I like to go out for unhealthy deep fried food. I can cook tasty and healthy food well at home. But I don't have a deep fryer. So, much of our out to eat food is stuff like chicken wings or French fries (hello, Five Guys Cajun fries!) or egg rolls. We don't do it often cuz...unhealthy, haha.
  23. A Prayer for Owen Meany and Cider House Rules changed the way I looked at my life and the world and ultimately changed my choices/actions. Does that count?
