Just got 3 messages from DS:
#1: Donnie Darko?
#2: "oh, yes! I was hoping you would ask!" - You
#3: Great, Mom! I'll get it set up!
(So he asked me, replied as me and then answered me. )
Speaking of creepy...
My DH put a garden statue of a pig outside the kitchen window in early spring so it was the first thing I saw when I looked out the window. Shudder. It's an Amityville Horror reference he knew would scared me.
Anyone else thinking of the nursery rhyme...
A dillar, a dollar, a 10 o'clock scholar?
What makes you come so soon?
You used to come at 10 o'clock but now you come at noon.

I hope all goes well. I'm praying for you and that you get the tech you want to do the procedure. That does make a difference...to be with someone you are comfortable with.

My prayers are with you as you grow and work to be the mom you want to be. It takes much courage to see our shortcomings and then work to improve them.
That being said...story about our old neighbors. The man was divorced and used to say how happy he was that he and his live-in girlfriend never fought bc he and his ex always did. Until one night the GF was drunk and told him to shut up bc they "whisper fight all the time."
I'm pretty sure those who think it was released illegally are basing that on the idea juvenile records are sealed except in specific cases. They are using "records" to encompass police documents, which are government documents, not simply arrest records or court records.
I'm not sure why you are continuing this derailing but your first statement is not correct. Clemmons himself cited he came from a Christian family, not Huckabee.
Again, I urge people to do their own research.

I would suggest for those not familiar, they do their own research because he was NOT supposed to be in prison for life. The details are easy to find and I don't want to further derail the thread.
I am not defending anyone's actions, certainly not Clemmons, but it is not as straightforward as Huckabee simply commuting his sentence.
I didn't even want to say it bc I figured you had that covered and also bc I don't want anyone, especially little kids to have to deal with seizures.
:crying:
I'm not Christian, I'm Catholic. ;-) and I didn't think it was funny, either. You can find most of the statements he made in threads here that reference religion, atheism, belief, God, death...
No problem.
I loved camp training.
Did you guys meet one evening a couple weeks before and divide into groups? And then plan activities and meals?
That is how we did it. And every group had an alternative meal prep technique. Like we got box oven, which was so awesome.
