  1. We bought ours at Home Depot and it has held up well. We also looked at some at Lowes and Ikea.
  2. I print the final corrected paper and place it in a folder in their writing binder. At the end of the year, I take all the final copies and bind them with my Proclick. ETA: I don't bind until after all corrections are made. There are no editing marks on the bound copies.
  3. He always answers the phone because I only call if it is urgent. I am much more likely to text him during the day and he almost always responds to those within 5 minutes.
  4. After he machine dries them, he'll have a great collection of miniature dog sweaters. Seriously, take them back if he can't/won't air dry.
  5. We like our iPhones. DH is looking forward to the 5. I have friends with the other smart phones, but they always seem to be having some issues with them.
  6. My mom made it often when I was younger. I HAD to eat it, but hated every bite. DH and the kids have never eaten meatloaf. As long as I am their head chef, they probably never will. :tongue_smilie:
  7. A few hits for our one year olds with older siblings were: Step 2 Up & Down Roller Coaster - can be used inside or out Plasma Car - older ones rode with her at first, but she quickly got the hang of it Shopping cart - they loved pushing their stuffies around or cleaning up toys w/it Dress up clothes/costumes Outside play structure - can often find practically new on Craigslist Bounce Around (bought this when the older two were toddlers, but they all use it now)
  8. You are so sweet to help me! Thank you! Hope your Cubbie has a great year!
  9. I am hoping a fellow AWANA Cubbie parent can help a girl out of a pickle. We left our Cubby Starter Booklet behind at AWANA last night. I would love it if someone can tell me the verses and references for Section B on the starter booklet. Part A was 1 John 4:10 and the Cubbie Motto. I need the next section so DS4 can study this week. The email address for our AWANA leader is on that pamphlet or I would contact her. Can anyone help me? Thank you!
  10. We made one earlier this year. We used the bulb that came in the Apologia lab pack from Homeschool Science Tools. I don't remember the wattage, but you can check the website. Worked like a charm and there were no fires. Have fun!
  11. That looks dangerous and wrong on so many levels. Sad, sad, sad...
  12. When I get my Shepherd, I'm naming him Diesel. I had two when I was younger named Kira and Target (not after the store). I also like Max, but it is pretty common.
  13. I love the cloth above her bed. It tones down that concrete dorm feeling. Very cozy and a great idea!
  14. You guys are awesome! I am very new to Pintrest and I don't have any boards to share (yet). Thanks to this thread, I have lots to explore! Thanks for sharing. I think school just ended for the day! :)
  15. Wow! He is gorgeous! German Shepherds are my favorite pups. Such lovely creatures. I can't wait to have one again. Enjoy him!
  16. Seat down Lid down When DH and I got married, we agreed to put both down. This is what we taught the kids. Our 4 and 2 year olds are still in training. The older boys are in the habit of putting them down. It's never been an issue here. Replacing the toilet paper is a whole 'nother story.:)
