  1. Thanks! I’m sure it wasn’t done properly. I’ll check out the link, thanks!
  2. They’re light gray with specks, so at least some of the damage is disguised!
  3. Everything! They're too hard, so things break if I put them down too hard. Water stains, soap stains, all the stains... and I walked into a corner while holding a ceramic pot and it busted off a corner. So.... I need more klutz-proof countertops 😄
  4. So jealous. I would love that. Our house has granite countertops and I can't stand them.
  5. This is a really great observation. Definitely, what you can observe (kid not working, kid not following directions) is not always reflective of what's going on in the inside.
  6. Because they decrease transmissibility quite a bit.
  7. I don't get it. Why not get whatever immunity you can from the vax, and then if you get Covid anyway, let your immune system help out? Sorry, I meant to quote @ChickaDeeDeeDee
  8. I had a Grammie and Papa. I know a Mimi which I think is cute.
  9. Totally fine! And you'll be more aware of what to look out for in future classes. The 30 min with the instructor sounds odd. Why would he do that to himself? (Maybe he hates grading but likes meeting?) I hate courses that only give grades at the end.
  10. I loved my loan agent. She even had some different title, like "customer care" or something. Her last name was actually "Lovely"!

    It's over

So sorry. Hope you are all okay. Pets are so wonderful most of the time, but there are the really hard parts too.
  12. Someone I work with has an anxious teen. The pharmacist came to their house and gave the vaccine!
  13. This makes a lot of sense to me. Also, my opinion as a non-doctor. 🙂
  14. I wear the BeHealthy masks for teaching all day and they're great.
  15. Yeah. Obviously they need to eat, but I wish they would at least acknowledge the risks of eating in a classroom. People seem to be pretending that it is safe.
  16. Same. Covid case by day 3. Maybe it came from outside of school, but still. Apparently because we're masking except during lunch and snack, and "distancing" while eating, none of us will be close contacts unless we are closer than 6 feet for longer than 15 minutes, or something like that. 🤔
  17. Okay, I'll go with this!! This calmed my nerves a bit.
  18. It only took 3 days, and there's a positive student case at my school. 150 kids total. Rural-ish Maine. Geez! Oh, and none of the kids need to quarantine, despite being close contacts, because they were wearing masks all the time.... except when they're eating lunch in their classrooms, and snack in their classroom... because they were 6 feet apart during that time. 😬 🙄
  19. It's lame, but I like my new clean/dirty dishwasher magnet. I also got some Posh Masks that @MEmama recommended! So light and comfy. Oh, and for school, some Born flats - I usually hate flats but these are great. No "toe cleavage," lol.
  20. Ah, I was hoping this was a hot water bottle shaped like a dog 😅
  21. I have a cabinet style. I like it b/c I can easily pull the box out to scoop, then slide it right back in. I can also easily sweep/vacuum.
