We love the name game. Kids can play it too (probably down to age 6-7). It's a group game for an unlimited number of people, although it's more difficult with a larger group!
Everyone gets a piece of paper, and writes a name on it (any name - person in the room, famous person, historical person, pet's name, whatever). Don't let anyone else see it. One person (not playing or writing down a name) will be the "name caller", collects all of the papers, then reads through all of the names once or twice.
The goal of the game is to guess which name belongs to each person, and not have anyone guess the name you wrote on your paper. The first person makes a guess. "Betty, are you Abraham Lincoln?". If the answer is no, Betty gets her turn to make a guess. If the answer is yes, Betty joins up with the person who guessed her name; they are now a team, and they get to guess again. Anytime a person's "name" is guessed, they join up with the team or person who guessed them, and they share their names and use their collective mind to try to guess the rest.
It's really fun to try to figure out what name people have written; often there are big surprises. My kids love this game; we usually play it with a mixed-age group and always have a great time.
