  1. I print my planner on 24 lb paper and have a Staples Arc punch. I use Happy Planner or Arc discs. I prefer the smaller discs, so I just have half a year (or so) in the planner at one time. I love the flexibility! My planner mostly stays in one spot, but my daughter's school planner gets moved around a lot and we don't really have issues with pages falling out. I don't know how well it would hold up if you needed to carry it back and forth and pull it in and out of a bag or purse regularly.
  2. Yes, this for sure. My son (incoming Computer Science major at Purdue) did a solid Pre-Cal in junior year and then did dual credit Calc 1 & 2 at a local university his senior year. Two benefits: having Calc 1 on his transcript made him a more competitive applicant, and now he's entering with Calc 1 & 2 done. (Bonus, doesn't have to take those at Purdue! Purdue Calc classes are monsters. 🤪) It will not hurt your son to have the Calculus regardless of what major he chooses to pursue.
  3. ((((Baseballandhockey))))) 🤗🙏💙
  4. I'm praying for you and your family, Dawn. 💙
  5. Congratulations! You have persevered through so much, and you have a beautiful family. Much to celebrate!
  6. My husband likes to drive and I don't, so he pretty much always drives. Everyone is happy!

Yes, absolutely yes. We learned this a few years ago when my husband was in an serous accident with several injured and multiple insurance companies involved. Your attorney will represent the interests and needs of your daughter, handle communication with insurance companies and other involved parties, and make sure insurance covers what they're responsible for. The last thing you need when you or your family member has been through a traumatic experience is to have to navigate the complexities of insurance, liability, settlements, etc. A good attorney will do that for you so that you and your daughter can focus on healing.
  8. I have had good success buying brother toner cartridges on Ebay. It takes a bit more time and patience, but is usually worthwhile.
  9. This has been our experience with MyTek classes as well. My son, who will be graduating this month and majoring in computer science at Purdue, has loved the classes he has taken there the past two years. The classes definitely helped cement his career direction.
  10. Today's worked really well with my standard first word! Wordle 310 3/6 🟩⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. Two of my boys have this one from Amazon: Laptop Backpack. Still going strong after four years of daily use for college.
  12. Soror, I am so sorry, yet so grateful for your daughter's life to be spared. Praying right now for all involved. 💙
  13. Wordle 304 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Oh my goodness! I thought I was going to fail that one. Too many "too close" options!
  14. Oh no, I'm so sorry! It seems even more shocking after all she's worked through to recover from the accident. And must be especially so for your dad. I'm praying for you and your entire family in the days ahead. 💙
  15. I'm so sorry for your loss, Arcadia. Praying for your safe flight and for healing time with your family.
  16. GracieJane, I'm so very sorry for your loss. 💙
  17. We haven't done Biology, but have done Chemistry and Physics. They have been worthwhile classes. The workload is challenging but not overwhelming (for both of my boys, not top level achievers but solid college bound students). One thing I love is that they are required to write lab reports for every experiment. That has been a great learning process for my students.
  18. You have to go through the automated chat system, but after you do that you will have the option of a live chat. (Yes, it's a pain!) I had this exact situation and they refunded the money promptly. The worst part of it is getting to an actual person who can take action!
  19. I think that was the original date, but then they pushed it up to today. DS was stalking his portal all. day. long. 😄
  20. DS3 got his acceptance into Computer Science at Purdue today - so excited! Purdue is his one and done, the only real question was whether or not he could get into CS. So now he can move forward with all of his pending plans. 😁
  21. I have no answers for you, just commiseration. I'm right behind you at 55.5 and still going strong, although timing has become a bit wonky. My mom had a hysterectomy after I was born and I have no bio sisters, so no information there. I'm hoping to end before 60, though! 🤪
