Hamish MacBeth is another really good series, on my wishlist for Christmas. Funny, now that I rented and watched the entire series, I see Hamish all over television now.

I just started The War for Children's Minds by Stephen Law.

Years ago, I had bookmarked a site that had a collection of various schedules for history and science. They were written different people, some for grammar and some for logic stage, most were saved in a word doc.. One of the science schedule used Visual Factfinder books. I'd love to have this site again, not even sure if it is still out there somewhere in cyberspace. Anyone remember this site? Thanks!

Kaleb actually had 3 extra eye teeth. One came in behind a baby tooth and when they x-rayed two more showed up in his upper gums, one was even upside-down! He has to have dental surgery to have them removed, it was amazing how long they were!!

I stapled the tops of my posters and now they stay up just fine. You can barely see the staples, and the holes they leave behind are so tiny, way less damage than tacks or sticky tac.

Yes, it will change all the blog colours, except for the ones marked for the sidebar specifically like Sidebar Text Colour and Sidebat Tittle Colour. If you play around with the colours you can see your work before you save it. Another option is just change the colour of the background of the code.

We have a camping trip from September 1-5th with some other home schoolers, then we start back the following Monday, the 8th.

It is picking up the colours you have selected at Blogger for your sidebar text, links, etc. You have to go play around there and change them. The background of the Webring box can be changed in the code, just edit the line that says: <td style="background: #E3F2FF"> change the E3F2FF to another hue. You can find hue colours here. My daughter's braces were $4700(Canadian), that is for full braces and headgear.

I too am sorry for Karen's loss, but have to say my opinion is pretty much the same as Phreds. Things happen, that's it...whether we have control over them or not, they happen. We live through them, good or bad, and hopefully become the better for it.
