  1. For any of you that use the Galore Park English books, are they consumable, can we write in them? I looked at the samples and I'd say no, but am not sure if they showed enough for a clear picture of what they are like. Thanks for any help you can give....Carol
  2. 1)That even though I could do it all, I didnt need to do it all and neither did my kids. 2)Kids can learn quite a bit through play and that it is valuable, pure fun play, unstructured and unscheduled, and even sometime unsupervised(real fun). A very structured WTM'r turned relaxed, eclectic, and sooo wanna-be-unschooler. :)
  3. We don't do narration or copywork, unless you count Italics Handwriting. I also don't feel bad about it anymore, we wasted a lot of years we could have been having so much more fun than sitting doing "school-at-home". :D
  4. Thanks, I did try there, but they don't carry it. Makes me mad...years ago I ordered all my Singapore Math right from Singapore. Now you can't anymore, singaporemath.com is the only ones allowed to order any of these products now and distribute them Canada/U.S. it seems. We can't even order books that singaporemath.com does not(want to) carry. Not fair at all. Thanks
  5. Anyone have any idea where you can order this from? Thanks
  6. Thanks all for the replies...Carol
  7. Thant is the one I remembered seeing awhile back. :)
  8. Looking for ideas of a math programme to use after a child has finished Singapore 6A&B(grade 6), we won't be continuing on with higher level Singapore Maths. I am looking at Teaching Textbooks, but am not sure about their placement tests. We did the placement test for grade 7 and it was VERY easy, she could do it all, right now she is in Singapore 5(grade 5). How accurate are these placement tests do you think? Wondering if I'd go with the 7 because she would be in grade 7 or move into the Algebra? Thanks
  9. It can be downloaded and was broken up by subject or by sets, or I believe they were colour-coded names like gold or blue by grades/levels? It is on the tip of my tongue but can't remember!! Many thanks!
