I think I was more afraid when the men tried to get in my car. The 911 operator kept saying to me, "Do not let them in your vehicle, do not let them get in." Well I knew this but I was so nervous. I just thought what are they going to do if they get in my car with my kids and I. Maybe I have watched to much Dateline NBC. I just thought we would be in harms way.

We were on our way to see my mom and go out to lunch. We were driving and a lady was backing out of a parking lot and not watching the road and hit us. The side of my car is all dented. My girls were crying and freaking out. Then to top it all off-she tried to flee the accident. But my car was in her way. When I got out of my car two men came out from their apartment complex and told me to pull out of her way so she could leave. I told them I would not move. I called 911 and the operator said to stay in my car. Then the men tried to get in my car, telling me they would go to the dealership with me and pay for the damage and to tell 911 to not come. I was really scared. I then called 911 again and said I was afraid of the men and told them what was happening. The lady kept telling me, "you are ok so let me leave." Then she looked at my car and said she did not cause the damage. I told her there was no damage to my car at all till that moment. They kept speaking Spanish-which I can't understand. Then they started to yell at me in Spanish. I really panicked at the point, so did my kids. Finally a cop showed up. The lady had no car insurance and the car was not even hers. Not sure who it was. When the cop got there the men left rather quickly. She of course could not. In the end I called my insurance and now we are doing ok. But I am a nervous wreck. I have cried so much. To really top it all off my husband is in Alabama on a business trip and can't come home. My 4 yr old is saying her neck hurts. The car hit her side-passenger side. I am taking her in to the doctor tomorrow. I just want her checked out. Sorry I had to tell someone. I just thank God we are ok and not badly hurt.

Mine are sleeping now! But we did have gymnastics tonight till 8:30 then watched tv for 20 minutes and bathed and bed.

of my me being pushed in a swing at 2 years old almost 3. I was at a park with my mother and father and cousins. I remember fighting with my cousin to slide down a slide. I remember a man pushing me on the swing and it was my dad. That was the last time he ever saw me. Don't know why I remember that, but I do.

Thats so funny! I have done this also. Except mine was a gold dollar that I got out of her piggy bank to put under her pillow. The next day we traded her a dollar bill and without her knowing I put the gold dollar back in the bank. All was good!

I have been doing this all week last week and I will be doing it all week this week. I want my dd to be able to do her stuff all on her own, well after I explain it all. I think it will help us stay on track.

We really like it also. My dd(8) wants to go on it as a family. She thinks its such a funny show.

I didn't vote in the poll either because I re-read the grammar stage a lot. I would say 12 times or more. Thats the stage we are in. I have read the Logic stage maybe 2-3 times in sections I need to.

Dry erase board computer-could not live with out this thing

My dd got a little frog and a tadpole with legs from the neighbor boys. They caught them at the lake. We went to the pet store and got food for tadpoles and a small tank. The food was only $3.00. They said the frog would eat the same food as the tadpole. I did not ask about the fish food we already have-because we do have fish also. But I have to tell you they lived 5 days with no food. I know bad me-I kept forgetting to get them food.

My dh made a chore chart for me and I have it hung in the girls rooms. In the morning dd 8: morning chores: dresses-bathroom duties(teeth, hair, stuff like that)-makes bed-cleans room- Daily chores: table setting & clearing-helps makes sandwiches-dishes in dishwasher-brings clothes to laundry room-wipes bathroom. Evening chores-get room ready to sleep-read or listen to book on tape for 1 hour-nightly bathroom stuff. dd 3: makes bed-morning chores: dress-bathroom duties-clean room-hair daily: table setting & clearing-clean playroom EVening: get room ready to sleep-she gets read to-nightly bathroom stuff. you can see what there chore charts look like on our blog. they have little tags they can put on the chores when they are done for the day.

DH works full time and I have always worked somewhat part-time for extra money.

We have a neighbor that just moved about two blocks away to a farm house. So our whole neighborhood is going to have a staycation campout the weekend of Aug 22-23. There will be about 15 families doing it. We are so excited to do this. One of the neighbors has even called the local news station and they will be interviewing a couple of us to put on the news. Cool, huh? I just don't want them to say a location of where we live or where we will be at.

I will be praying for her also.

My girls got Highlights from grandma. The youngest got High Five-highlights. Also I got them Spider and Ladybug.

about a year ago. I love it. Then 2 weeks ago I bought a macbook. I really love it. It is so amazing. I did buy at book that tells me all about OS x 10.5 Leopard-I think thats it. I like it a lot. I still have our pc, but never use it anymore. I can't anymore than that. I just had to tell you that I love my mac.

My trim is a dark green. I don't think I would want my gutters to match my trim. But then again I hate the white because you can see all the dirt run off.

I loved my trapper keeper! I forgot all about those until now. Wow! I wish they still had those. But now we use just a 3 ring binder. I did see the flex ones at Target the other day. I thought about getting one to see if it works.
