Ok I admit it. I have never voted for a president. I am 36 and this will be my first year to vote for a president. I have voted for local issues and local elections, but this is my first time I will actually vote for a president. I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. (Please no yelling at me for this) I just have never figured anyone needed my vote before.

My dd learned it this way also. We still sing it this way. Now my 4 yr old dd sings it and thinks it is great.

I don't like them. I am very allergic and they seem to know and come right up to me and try to rub up against me. It really grosses me out.

I agree with you. I think that one has to know the whole situation before making an assumption. I have only home-schooled for 3 year now but we have come a long way. The first year was awful. We both struggled with each other. Nothing came easy for us. I think that anyone on the outside would have thought we were horrible. Now my dd is doing great for where she is.

Here in WA where we live, the highest I saw it was $4.46 now it is $3.76 at Costco.

I posted this same question on my blog a couple of weeks ago. Here is what my dd's have said. When the Olympics were on the girls and I watched the opening serimonies together. I let them stay up late to watch-K feel asleep but J stayed awake. Well, as the United States walked in they showed President Bush and I said to J that that was the president and his wife. I told her George W. Bush. She said, "What he's still alive." I said, "Yes, honey he is." She said, "Wow, he looks really good for being so old." I said, "What do mean?" She said, "Well for him to be the first president and to have lived this long, that's amazing." I then explained that he was not George Washington, the first president, but George Bush the current president. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband has been out of town for a week on business. He got back on Saturday and we decided to go take the girls for a drive and get a treat. While we were in the car K explained to us how she was going to have a baby brother. (No, we are not pg.) J said, "No we are not." She told us how she was going to grow up and have a baby brother herself. J said, "You can't, it will be your own baby." She said, "Yes I can I will marry daddy and have a baby brother." J told her she can not marry daddy because mommy is already married to daddy. K got really upset and yelled, "I can marry daddy if I want to and you can't stop me." I love what my kids say sometimes!

Oh no, we stayed at a Best Western last year while at Disneyland.

My dd 4 has told everyone she is marrying daddy. She even got into a yelling fit with dd 9 about it. Saying she will marry daddy and there is nothing you can do about it. When dd 9 said well dad is married to mom, she said well he won't be when I grow up. We explained that yes he will be. She said she is still marrying him.

We do a form of school cones. I buy a new box for them each year and pack it full. We started 3 weeks ago. Our first day they walked in and saw their new boxes and I got them new folders and paper. We did school for about 3 hours and then went swimming and got ice cream. This is the first year we swam. My dd's said this was the best year ever.

My dh woke me up at 5:30 and told me he loved me and he would do it all over again. What more could I ask for! I love that man.

I think the first year I homeschooled I was worried about what people would say but now I go where I want when I want.

Oh this poor family. I will pray for God to comfort them.
