My friends that sell Mary K a y have been posting lately about a new product for under eye masks with before and after pictures of then reducing the dark circles. I’m sure a local lady around you would be happy to demonstrate on you before you purchase.

Take notice to whether your eye dr has had the surgery or not. Mine has not. My neighbor is a regional manager for an eye care chain. He said from what he has learned in his job, he will never have the surgery. I don’t know anyone who has had complications that I’m aware of. They all are pleased with the results.

Yes, I have. The family I’m thinking of in particular at least kept on homeschooling, even though the dc needed special ed teaching that was beyond the mother’s capability for various reasons. She and her now exdh say she kept going because everyone in her friend group homeschooled. I understand how she felt. I educated my various dc through cyber school, traditional homeschooling, hybrid schooling, and public b&m school. Once I was no longer had anyone home, I was dropped by my homeschooling friends.

Maybe we could have a welltrained mind forum card exchange! I enjoy receiving cards too, but only still get a handful, if that, anymore.

I have only seen lots with attendants parked like that. A couple of years ago we went to Philly for the day. The lot we found, the cars were so close together, every one had to get out before dh parked and he had to climb out the trunk. I was worried the whole day because I could not see how we would have enough room to back out of the spot when we got back. Dh wasn’t worried about and managed to get out. I was a nervous wreck. I would not have been able to it by myself.

You are doing what you have to do. I am assuming if you are looking for a new position at this point in the year, that you are interested in leaving your current position. If the follow-up interview is for the job close to your house so you won’t have a commute, I understand that!

That happened to me last year. I had an interview scheduled where I was given the date and time. Snow was expected that day. I was nervous about accepting that date, but she said it wouldn’t be a problem to reschedule if the weather was actually bad. The weather was bad, multiple accidents, highway eventually closed down when I would have been out and about for the interview. So I canceled and then was told it wouldn’t be rescheduled because they went ahead and hired the person they first interviewed.

Did you get to see them today?

I don’t know! I’ll ask though. I think she puts it in the oven around midnight.

My mil cooks the turkey every year. She gets the biggest one she can find, plus a turkey breast. She cooks it overnight and then debones it in the morning. The meat stays warm in it’s juices in the electric roaster.

As I was walking into church this morning, an older woman was walking out and smiled as she said something I didn’t understand. When dh came in, he asked if I had seen the older lady. Apparently she came up to him and said he must be a Trump supporter because she could tell by his gut and that’s the way she greeted Trump supporters. She said this to another guy in the parking lot too, who has a flat stomach. No idea what that was all about.

We are expecting heavy rain, wind, and thunder during ToT. The local Facebook pages are full of threads with parents with young children hoping ToT will be postponed and older people saying there’s no such thing as a rain date for ToT since they had to ToT in all sorts of weather and they turned out fine. Some municipalities are postponing while others are not. Will be interesting to see what actually happens!

In our old house, there was no where to put my craft stuff that I didn’t want the kids to get into except under my bed. So to keep the kids from going under my bed to get in it, I told them we had a pet alligator that lived under the bed. The kids were too scared to look to be sure if it was true or not. Every kid that came over to our house knew about that alligator (because my kids told them) and my craft stuff remained untouched.

That’s sad for your sister and your niece to not have her grandparents attend, basically blowing off her wedding. Of course this makes it awkward for everyone. Yours and your sister’s holidays shouldn’t change because of this. If your parents are choosing not to attend because of a grandchild’s choices, still continue you on with your traditions without them. eta: I wonder if your parents are related to my stepmother because this is the crap she pulls on my family (and my dad lets her).

If she’s on bed rest, this probably isn’t allowed. I was on bed rest for three months with my twins - 23 hours a day on my left side. The one hour was so I was allowed to get up to go to the bathroom and sit up to eat, otherwise, lying on my left side. Even though I didn’t do much, I did tire easily and I wouldn’t have been up for a long visit.

Do you feel comfortable telling him you are glad he can attend and you would like him to contribute this, this, and that? As far as matching plates and etc, I’m of the mind more people and I don’t care about the matching stuff, especially since you have this much notice. I’m at the point I prefer to use cute holiday PAPER plates and colorful solo cups that be marked with permanent marker. If you will be short silverware, I’d ask your mom to bring some sets with her.

I don’t have one, but I looked at them at the dealership when we were selecting a car for dh. I do not think it would be comfortable for 5-6 adults. Up to 4 maybe, but not more. There’s very little trunk space when the third row is up too. The Odyssey has more space for passengers.
