My days are much nicer when my toddler has her Mommy time right off the bat. We spend a few minutes reading and playing on the floor with her dolls, etc. while her older brothers finish their breakfast. As I teach, I usually turn on her favorite show, Sesame Street. She is going to marry Elmo, BTW. Ha! And she loves Sprouts, the preschool TV network. When my older dc have a break or complete an assignment, they will usually play with her on the floor, read to her, etc. They sort of rotate a little throughout the day if they are able unless she is napping. I can give her an activity and she is really happy. One day, she played in a bowl of water with sponges. She loved it. Another day, I made homemade playdo and she had a ball. And she loves her nesting blocks. She loves to participate in our real a louds and art projects. She really loves listening to classical music too.
ToddlerToddler.com has great activities and LetterofTheWeek also. She loves to play Fisher Price games on my laptop also.
