  1. Our credit union did but our name is also on the account.
  2. I would send your DH with the non-sick kids and your regrets. I don't know if I would call and burden your MIL with this before the funeral. :grouphug:
  3. I've given up caffeine, again. I do drink one caffeine-free coke zero each day.
  4. People still visit and rent in the winter. That area has access to the AT. We like to do day hiking all year long. We live close enough that we can just drive up in the morning & have time to do a hike. Lots of state and federal parks in the area. All the areas I mentioned are NW. The NE also has some nice areas but I'm not as familiar with that area. Tullulah Gorge is over that way.
  5. Helen, Cleveland, Dahlonega, Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Ellijay. There are some small towns in those areas as well. Look up those cities and look at the surrounding areas. Not Big Canoe. Sorry, it's not really in the mountains.
  6. I'm the secretary for the young women in my church (age range 12-18). Some of the kids have facebook, some have personal phones, some it's contact thru the parent. When I have to post a message about an event I post to our facebook page and then to an app called groupme. I just copy & paste and it really doesn't take very long. Groupme is free. Maybe look into it and see if it would work for your group.
  7. Those puzzles with the really big pieces, books, movies, outdoor toys (bubbles, balls, chalk, etc).
  8. In our old house we took the smaller bedroom and gave the larger suite to the kids. It was a 3 bedroom house with no basement. We put the 3 girls in the master bedroom and used the walk-in closet for their toys. Our son had a room to himself and we had the 3rd bedroom. My husband was not happy about it but I told him that we only slept in our room while the kids played in theirs. It worked out well for the 2 years we lived there. (This was before the youngest was born).
  9. I have used the Coconut nail strips http://www.coconutnailart.com/#coconut-by-incoco found in Wal-Mart. I think they were about $6. I liked that it was nail polish thin instead of thick fake nails. They lasted about 2-3 weeks for me. But my nails when I took them off would peel.
  10. I wear a cotton t-shirt and underwear. I still end up tossing off most of the covers.
  11. You could do what the others have suggested or just add some onion powder to the broth when you thicken it.
  12. I started using the Hard as Nails stuff. Last time I wiped my nails down with alcohol before painting them. I have the Zoya colors. May need to get the Zoya base.
  13. If you knit or crochet you can make your own.
  14. I usually just do my toes. It lasts forever. My nails will maybe last a couple of hours. The problem I have isn't chipping, my whole polish comes off in one piece. :confused1: I do a base coat, 2 color coats, & top coat.
  15. Until recently both my parents & IL's lived in PA. My IL's just moved to FL. We live in GA. I have 1 sis in PA and 1 in FL and a SIL in MD.
  16. My youngest is up between 5 and 6 every day. I can't afford to miss the sleep staying up until midnight.
  17. Andromeda on Amazon. It's by Gene Roddenberry.
  18. That's not cheating, that's smart! I was supposed to make cookies for the kids Sunday teachers but I ran out of time so just took store bought. Better to have something than nothing.
  19. My dd had to be at the venue by 5:30 for a 6:30 start time. For every minute that they are late, they lose a point since the concerts are part of their grade. There is absolutely nothing close by and the parking is horrible anyway. We take a book and sit in the car for an hour.

    Steam????

We love Steam here. My DS gets game keys for Steam games all the time and does YouTube reviews. Right now he's doing a series of 25 days of Steam leading up to Christmas.
