  1. Yes, if it is spreading then I would go ahead and take her in.
  2. I would say to outline the red area with a pen or marker and watch it for a couple of hours, if it spreads beyond the marked boundaries then go to the ER otherwise go see your regular dr in the am. Although if the fever goes up again I would probably go ahead and go in.
  3. I have no idea...I haven't been on a date without my kids in ages!
  4. I just read that article on Facebook and I was like:glare: and:confused:
  5. It sounds like she is treating it like a hospital setting. She sounds like she's one of those inflexible nurses who refuse to give a little. I work with a nurse like that and she will call a Dr about anything, even something that should be nursing judgement and does not warrant a call to the Dr. Believe me the Dr's absolutely hate it! She's old school and set in her ways and there is just no changing her! I couldn't stand it in my own home and would have to find a replacement.
  6. We pull a 24 ft travel trailer with our Tahoe and it gets a workout going through the mountains. We want to get a bigger travel trailer next year and amazingly enough the new larger trailers actually weigh less than the one we have now. We are walking a fine line between towing capacity and having enough room for everyone!
  7. I didn't think about Michaels :) I will check there! Thanks!
  8. When I was a kid I remember having tons of fun with some small plastic farm animals and some fences to build. I think my kids would like it too but I can't find what I'm looking for. Any suggestions?
  9. A PICC line is a peripherally inserted central catheter. The insertion is no more painful than a regular IV stick and it can stay in much longer than a regular IV. They can also draw lab work from it too. If you need fluids or medication for more than a couple of days I would go with it!
  10. My 5yo ds has been up since 3 am puking and pooping, 3 yo ds has a cold and seems to have an endless supply of green boogers and BONUS they shared their cold with my 3wk old newbie :(.
  11. Sounds like they are talking about their A1c level? A1c gives a picture of the average glucose level I've the last 3 months a number over 7 is high.
  12. I have a Tahoe which is the same thing and 3 kids. I don't have 3rd row seat so the all sit side by side in the back. It's a tight fit but we have a forward facing seat, booster seat and infant seat in the back. I love my Tahoe and we use it to pull our travel trailer. I do, however, also have a minivan and usually drive it daily. I much prefer the Tahoe but I drive the van because it gets better gas mileage. If I was going to buy another car I would look at Tahoes first :). It has not give us any trouble except an air compressor in 8 years.
  13. I don't know about six flags but Dollywood says no outside food either but we take food in our bags all the time and have never been asked about it.
  14. I have allergies that are just awful when I am pregnant! The only thing that gets me through the nights is chlortrimeton. It stops the itchy eyes and sneezing.
  15. :iagree: I think my dh is scared of me :). He would never let me leave our house if we spilt up he would insist on being the one to leave. FWIW my house is next door to my parents so I guess it would be awkward for him to stay in the house ;)
  16. Last month before we went camping one of my kids turned our A/C down to 55 without anyone knowing:eek: When we got home it was a meat locker in our house! I was shaking in my shoes waiting on that power bill! It only went up about $60 but I was afraid it would be hundreds!
  17. I would hand deliver my electric bill in gold coins if mine was that low!
  18. Twin lakes on Lake Hartwell in SC Pine Mountain RV park in Pigeon Forge TN James Island State Park in Charleston SC
