  1. Back in 1996, my dress was $350, off the rack. Alterations were $100 since I'm short and needed 4 inches off the bottom. My entire wedding was $1300.
  2. Congrats and praying for healthy, bouncy baby in 9 months.
  3. :iagree::iagree::iagree: :party::cheers2:
  4. I went to check it out right after I posted that and before reading the rest of the quotes. I was quite impatient :lol:. They're full to overflowing it seems. Oh well. Thanks for sharing the info! I'll just have to keep checking the boards more often.
  5. Share the knowledge, people. Good grief, I am always the last to know the fun stuff.:tongue_smilie:
  6. There you are! Welcome back! I'm not fully caffeinated yet so I have no clue what you missed. I can't remember waking up today.
  7. Praying for you and sending you lots of :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:.
  8. Praying for you! I know that feeling of living in boxes all too well with my kids.
  9. Yay for the new realtor!!!! Sounds like she is already working harder for you. Woop!
  10. Great news! And congrats on the updated kitchen in your current house. I know that's a relief to have that done. Link the pics if you get a chance. I'd love to see it. I love black kitchen cabinets.
  11. Praying for you two ladies. With my 4th, I had what you described for 2 weeks. My doctor kept telling me to drink lots of water since dehydration can sometimes trigger it. It was extremely painful. My 4th came 2 days before her c-section date.
  12. Not for the debit card (that I know of). Take a cancelled check with you to the customer service desk to sign up. They will give you a temp receipt/card to use until your card comes in about 5-7 business days.
  13. I love my Target debit card. It usually takes 5-7 business days for the charge to go through. I have no idea why. My MIL even signed up for one once she realized it's a debit and not a credit card.
  14. I am so sorry for your loss. Many, many hugs and prayers to you. I am praying for you.
  15. You rock! Painting your own cabinets...THAT deserves a milk shake, lady! I did that once in my younger, wilder days and can't imagine doing it again (granted, the drunk roommate spilling paint probably contributes to the bad memory more than anything else). May your new painted cabinets send a contract with the Easter bunny.
  16. House selling is not for the faint of heart. As I reread new posts from last week, I am reminded that patience is a virtue and I've got not much left. Our realtor had our foyer parquet flooring replaced with tile and it was done beautifully. We had lots of missing wood pieces so it had to go or we risked lawsuits by people looking at the house. The painters are supposed to be finished but haven't. And they've left lots of paint splatters on the floor. Thankfully it's vintage terrazzo so it should clean up quick. We had hoped to have it on the market this weekend but now I'm not sure. We may end up having to pay another contractor to finish the painting and clean the paint splatters. I'm am so glad to hear others are seeing activity on their homes. Every little bit of good news is good!
  17. Me!!! I gave the kids some allergy liquid last night. They've been suffering with it the past month and I've been fighting giving them meds. But we all need sleep so they were medicated. At least they all slept. But then they were all awake and staring at me at 4:30 this morning.
  18. Hubby wears his. I took mine off several years ago when I was doing more yoga and lost enough weight to where it didn't fit anymore. With yo-yo dieting and pregnancies over the past 6 years, it finally started fitting again after 3rd child. Then ds2 decided to wear it and lost it somewhere in our house. I thought we'd find it when we moved last fall but no dice. DH wants to get a new one anyway so we're looking to get new matching bands this summer for our anniversary.
  19. Same here. Love it. Will get another Sienna when this one is left ravaged by our over-loving it.
  20. Same here. Now that I'm done with pregnancies, the depression isn't as debilitating. And I don't like people all that much, except the ones in my house. People don't believe me when I tell them I'm going to be a hermit as soon as the youngest goes off to college/life. I've already got a nice duplex on quiet street a couple of blocks from the beach in a will-not-be-named beach town in FL. A fellow hermit has already agreed to live in the other side. We can still be friends without having to interact.
