  1. Mini M&M's... They also make a special cup that has a ledge to put a pill on above the liquid; you just open your mouth and drink it.

  3. No advice, but my ds grew a lot between 16 -18, and I'm pretty sure he isn't finished yet. We live in a snow place so winter gear is a must here.
  4. I believe, all models come with the wet container and you can purchase a dry container separately. I love, love my vitamix and like another poster mentioned, regret waiting years to purchase one because of the price$$$. I do/did have a Ninja, but the blades were a worry and it didn't work as well for smoothies; I'm picky with textures. jmo, ymmv Ninja lovers. I gladly donated my Ninja a few weeks ago, but wish I'd purchased the Vitamin instead. To be honest, I did not spend the dollars on the Vitamin, dh did for our anniversary and it's one of my favorite gifts ever. Cleaning the Vitamix one of my favorite things...Just rinse and water and soap and pop it back on the stand and let it clean itself and then rinse. It doesn't add dishes to my dishwasher and I love that it's clean and ready to go in under a minute. Like I said, mine sits on the counter and I use it everyday for smoothies to get my veggies and fruits. Wanted to add, we purchased from QVC on a rec from a friend. I was able to use it for a month with the option of returning it minus shipping. Dh said to get and I could make up my mind and quit wondering about it with out the guilt of wasting money. If you know someone who owns one, ask to try it out first.
  5. Don't do anything in haste, and you might even want to talk to your dh and your priest. I feel for you, but your post isn't specific and I'm not sure a discussion would produce the results you desire. Difficult in-laws are a pain. :grouphug:
  6. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: You sound like an awesome mom. Love your little boy, I'm sure he is precious. My sister has one with a processing disorder. She's a great kid, works hard and I know she is going to grow into an awesome person.
  7. I'm not sure which model to recommend, but I have the tall one (love it btw). The short one would fit on the counter under my cabinet, but I would still have to pull it out to use; I keep mine plugged in on the L part of my counter... because I use it daily for my smoothies. Mine was a gift and came with the dry container, so I didn't have to choose.
  8. Hoping you already have the script filled, but if not... Be sure to have the doctor write the script and that you get a copy. Our HSA will pay, but often insists on a doctor script. (Example here was Claritin (and the shingles vac); we went to simply purchasing Claritin over the counter, not at the pharmacy...However HSA wants the dr. script.)
  9. I would want a paper trail on the dog just to ease my mind, unless I knew the owner was working with a qualified trainer. (The owner may take the dog to other places, homes etc. or he might even re-home the dog in the future. There are so many people who just don't know how to properly train a dog... even with the best intentions and lots of love they put other pets and people at risk.)
  10. :grouphug: :crying: :grouphug:
  11. Did the incident get reported to anyone?
  12. I'm pretty sure, dh purchased ours at Walmart; it's a Gold's Gym. We've had it for around 7 years and he averages 900-1000 miles per year. He does run hard on it, and uses it year round when our weather prohibits outside miles. I'm saying that, because he prefers to run outdoor if possible and I'm not sure how many miles are treadmill vs. outdoor miles. I'm pretty sure it was under $700 new.
  13. :crying: The whole procedure is just wrong. Poor kid... :crying:
  14. So, so sorry. Prayers for the family. :grouphug:
  15. Prayers for the family... :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  16. Late to the party...My tilt head is near 12 years old and runs like a work-horse. I keep it on the counter under a top cabinet and use it where it is; it's heavy and wouldn't tip, but I'm not dragging out/up a mixer when I need (too heavy for me to be lifting all the time.) I also have a KA hand mixer and love them both along with my KA toaster. Tilt or lift are both excellent mixers.
  17. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: prayers for the little one.
  18. I think a lot of it depends on the individual person, their care and support systems. Sitting doesn't have to exclude them from staying active or exercise. I think building their support system and finding the things they enjoy and can do to be tremendously encouraging and helpful. Research and find the senior support(s) available in your/her area. Many elderly who are suffering from injuries or mental decline need help finding help.
  19. We have Prime and our shipping times have me wondering how they get things here so quickly, sometimes the next day.
  20. Blech...If she is your friend...you should attend for FREE imo or skip it and the guilt. I have a feeling you're worried about her feelings more than she's worried over yours.
  21. I agree with the ladies above. Find the foods, drinks and life things that affect you. You may need to keep a food journal, sleep elevated. I found relief with diet changes, two pillows and eating dinner earlier and making lunch my biggest meal of the day. Consulting with your doctor is a good idea esp. if it is every night. :grouphug:
