  1. Congratulations! :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:
  2. :grouphug: terrible, terrible, terrible, but I'm so glad y'all are okay.
  3. If you haven't had a professional bra fitting recently; go in and get one if you aren't comfortable with one, get a tape measure and a good mirror. VS, Soma?, a major dept. or outlet store in your area would all work. My dd's fav's are Olga; she's larger than me btw. My personal fav's are Breezies with ulta-air moisture wicking fabric (I sound like a commercial); I was gifted one at the beg of peri-m after a summer of hot flashes by my mom Tmi. They do fit differently and you would need to get current measurements for each line esp the Breezies. (The Breezies can only be ordered at QVC, but they can be returned.) A measuring tape and a little time trying them on go a long way towards a good/well supported fit. I was surprised that different brands have different size measurements. I'm sure there are other brands that offer moisture wicking, but I'm happy with the ones I now wear.
  4. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: I'm so happy for her.
  5. When Your Grandparent Dies and Sad Isn't Bad might work with a young child. I'm sorry for your loss. :grouphug:
  6. I've never been gifted with changing the subject, but I've found it helpful to smile and move on with difficult people. Many conversations bullies think I have a weak bladder and drink too much water. When my kids were little, they provided a good diversion with the needs for mommy checks; now I'll dig into my purse for some missing must have or my water bottle.
  7. Wash you bra(s) in vinegar or something else to kill the odor or bacteria. A new uplifting and supportive bra might also be a good idea. And as suggested above, if you bought the powder and then developed the smell, that might be it. Oh, and a morning and nightly shower might help nip it quicker.
  8. (((Oh Stacey))) I'm so sorry and will be praying for your family. :grouphug:
  9. :grouphug: You bet, let us know how it goes.
  10. I only notice it when it's sub zero cold here; then I'm thinking...that person must be crazy-cold.
  11. :scared: I'm happy for you, but I need time to process this. Enjoy your move  .
  12. What ever makes you look and feel happy, pretty, flirty, sporty. It really depends on you and the dress or skirt. Find some that you love and if they need tailoring...have it done. I find the new no hose necessary freedom easier and more fun for less dressy times. (It's also less hot and horrible here in the summer to slip on a dress or skirt.)
  13. Btdt...I would not feed any of it (except the pre-cooked bacon doesn't req. refrigeration) to children.
  14. Sparkly metalic black :thumbup1: it was a gift and I love it.
  15. Depends for me too; the slimy part would put me off...Do they smell funny?
  16. Good idea; I found one that says... Caution Student Driver and Screaming Parent :driving:
  17. 14 year old children can get a permit in our state...I'm terrified of my neighbors ds on the road, not to mention the countless others. Recently a graduated license was adopted.
  18. I think it's interesting and always defer to the momma when it comes to baby names. Ds's middle name is dh's first name and dd middle name begins with the same letter as dh's middle name...so maybe I'm weird.
