  1. A number of schools do accept them, but there are two potential drawbacks. The first is if it is a prerequisite, she may not be able to move up into the next level with any grade lower than a C and some universities and colleges don't accept them as a passing grade.
  2. :grouphug: Hug to you. I'll second the find your response line and rinse and repeat...With my mil it goes something like...I'm just so blessed;). I always smile and and she gets flustered and moves on after a few minutes. Growing my rino skin on Peeks suggestion has helped tremendously; as well as accepting the fact that she doesn't (and never will) like that we aren't doing things her way.
  3. I've got a nearly unused gallon here and I'd be happy to share. What on earth am I going to do with all that blue goo?
  4. Oh yes, I'd eat it or at least cook something yummy with it.
  5. Thanks for updating us. I'm sending hugs prayers down her way.:grouphug:
  6. How heartbreaking...that poor baby and her family:grouphug:.. Five is nearly a baby to me as far as supervision is concerned. I've proudly worn my overprotective momma badge for 14+ years.
  7. :grouphug: Hope it feels better soon. My sister is practically in love with her chiropractor.;)
  8. :crying::crying::crying: Krispy Kreme went out of business here...We don't even have a Dunkin Donuts, just some stinky old, dried up local donut shop.
  9. Walmart or just about any grocery store near the spray starch and other laundry supplies.
  10. Yes at fast food places, but not at sit down restaurants.
  11. ACT/SAT comparison http://www.eguidancecounselor.com/act_sat_comparison.htm
  12. The 9th is the last day here because there weren't too many snow days this year. My sister's ds was out last month on the 22nd, they're in the SW.
  13. Sounds great, but I wish you had a picture to share:001_smile:.
  14. My kids are readers and have lots of summer activities and truth be told even I enjoy the break. WINTER here is ugh, long and we spend it doing lots of work...I've learned to enjoy every hot, humid, sticky moment of summer here except the mosquitoes. BBQ, swimming, vacations, and simply enjoying some down time is very refreshing.;)
  15. I love adding juice to my iced tea here. Apple juice, lemon, lime, raspberry, cranberry etc.
  16. My library has a copy with a long reserve list...I was waiting patiently...but then B&N had another teacher appreciation day...and...well I couldn't resist. ;) Enjoy your copy!
  17. :bigear: Good thread! I've started two plants this year and now I know what to do.
  18. Have it your way, is my only birth advice to anyone. :grouphug: Now Screaming and Tea sounds a little :bigear: controversial. That thread would be interesting.
