OT: Trampoline Recommendations?

Another vote here for springfree! We got ours here (Canadian company, we live there), but when we were searching for one I think we also came across them at Sears in the US. -

For those who have discussed coconut oil here....
janie_ranae replied to trlt's topic in General Education Discussion Board
i.love.lucy would you be willing to share that delicious sounding banana oatmeal recipe? The combination of banana, oatmeal and coconut oil sounds like a "comfort" dish. I'd love to try it. -

We left HOD one year as well because I did not want to do 2 years of American History. Not saying it was the best choice, but it worked out for us. We skipped BLHFHG. My ds had just turned 9 and dd 7yrs 5mon when we started PHFHG. For the most part it has worked out. She does the gr3 grammar, ds does the gr4 grammar, she does gr 2 math, ds does gr4. (Math is a little more difficult for her.) It has not caused a problem. They do the readings independently then come to me to narrate, answer questions, etc. It has worked out for us with minimal tweaking. If you have a chance to see the manual, perhaps that would give you a better idea. I have not seen the CTC manual, so next year remains somewhat undecided. We may need to start out at half-speed, but for us it has been great to keep them both in the same book.

Your favorite meal to bring to someone?
janie_ranae replied to Quiver0f10's topic in General Education Discussion Board
Some of my favourite meals to deliver are: salisbury steak, potatoes baked in cream sauce, salad, dessert meatballs, rice dish, salad, dessert sweet 'n sour sausage, side dish (rice or potatoes), salad, dessert Sometimes rye bread or french bread buttered and warmed up (or wrapped in foil ready for the oven). My sister-in-law just had her 4th dc (a son) and I'm looking forward to bringing her a meal this week. Thanks for the wonderful ideas posted. I'm always looking for something that is easy to carry out and easy for the family to clean up later. Some of those hearty soup suggestions would fit that bill perfectly! -

I'm so happy for you! Try to savor your mobility. :001_smile: A friend of mine, who is 24 weeks along in her pregnancy, just found out Friday that she is to take it easy for the same reason. We are hoping and praying that things will change soon. -

Canadian travelling to Florida
janie_ranae replied to janie_ranae's topic in General Education Discussion Board
Thanks for all the helpful information! Yes, we plan to visit Disney and Sea World, possibly also Animal Kingdom and Busch Gardens. Any suggestions on how to save on the park entry fees? Thank you for the addresses on searching homes to rent. We are hoping to find one in a nice community and fairly close to the main attractions, so thank you for those suggestions! Any other ideas/tips for our stay? ...rental vehicles, we are looking to rent a minivan, but that is looking quite pricey! Thanks again for your help!!:) -
My parents are taking our family to Orlando from December 30-January 10! Our kids (9, 7 & 4 yrs) are thrilled!! We are looking forward to some warmer weather :) I would love to hear some suggestions for what to do during our stay there. If anyone has any advice on finding accomodations that too would be much appreciated! :) If you have any money saving tips you would be willing to share, I would appreciate that. Thanks for helping this mom try to plan a trip here quickly. :tongue_smilie:

Need suggestion for iPad keyboard
janie_ranae replied to 1GirlTwinBoys's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I have the apple ipad keyboard and it works great. Now I wish I would have purchased the clamcase cover. :glare: -
I vote for baked too. It is delicious and convenient baked! I use my pampered chef bar pan and it works fabulous. For a package of 500g I have to put the pan in twice, but the second go around is much faster with the pan still hot.
