Know what it means?

    That was TOO funny. :D I am thankful 1. TGIF 2. DH is on his way home and he is stopping to get me an iced latte. 3. My DS is watching a movie, quietly. 4. I have homemade brownies and well, chocolate fixes everything.

    Crockpot chili made with stew meat (I don't like hamburger meat). Corn fritters (cornmeal pancakes) Salad Homemade brownies for dessert :D

    Well, I guess I see it as getting my own money back. I don't care about the politics of it, just show me the $$$. That is probably really shallow but the idea of receiving $1,800 right as we are going into our paycheck-free summer sounds very nice. I could fly to see my brand new niece. And yes, it bugs me that the government is so screwed up that it even thinks about solutions like this.

    Thanks ya'll. I'm telling you, I am so computer illiterate. My little brother is a graphic designer and makes fun of me. But I am learning!

    Okay, I finally figured out how to do this. I had to learn some basic html code. I'm pretty proud of myself. LOL. I turned my poem for memorization into a pull-down menu type thing. I have tried to figure this out for DAYS. You can use flooble's generator but you'll have to know a little bit of html code if you want to edit it. Anyway, I'm so excited. I just can't hide it. LOL. I'm a dork. :D

    Wow! Have fun. That sounds so blissfully quiet. Our weekly report is up early too. It has been kind of a lousy week and I'm just ready to get a jump on TGIF!!

    Yes, we use a top sheet and it is tucked in. Yes, I also put the sheet on with the pattern facing down (if it has one), but I like to partially fold over my quilt, sheets, etc. so it looks fancy. LOL.

    I agree with "Rich with Kids". I do not believe in "ghosts". I do not believe in the spirits of dead people roaming the earth. I believe when you are dead, you are dead and you go to your eternal reward (one place or the other). I do believe in spirits though (angels and evil spirits).

    I pay $20 for a weekly 30 minute private piano lesson. I count myself fortunate as most are more than that in my area (SoCal).

    Sure, especially today. But it is like anything else, I have tunnel vision. I tend to forget how stressed and hectic and barking I was when the kids were in ps. Today was a bad day for us. Tomorrow will be better. I hope. I blogged about our bad day and by the end of it, I was laughing. Sometimes, feeling the way you mentioned, makes us stop and re-evaluate what is important. Can you make some changes??
