ok what style of Wacoal are you guys wearing? I bought one from Dillards about six months ago and the back strap on it also rides up. What is wrong with me? I cant find a style name on it but it is made with a very slick material and I thought maybe that was the problem.

Need a Moving-Day Meal Idea

What about a good vegetable soup with grilled cheese? Even better if you can find your crockpot. Start in the morning ready by mid day. -
So, what are you doing this weekend?

what about a hike on a good birding trail? -
Yes, as a matter of fact I am wearing a bra I just purchased from VS about two weeks ago and I am not satisfied with the support at all. They said I was a 36dd so that is what I bought and the back band slips up all day. A 34dd was to small in the cup with VS. I think the thin straps are the biggest problem. My back hurts alot and my MIL thinks it is from lack of support in the straps.
-
oh, oh I see they have individual cups. How true are the sizes?
-
I will check these out. Do they give you a good look? I have tried a few of the sports bra styles and they all seemed to either flatten me out of give you that one boob look.
-
I am sick of buying bras that just dont work. I am a 34dd and it is almost impossible to find a good bra. After three children I need some support!lol All the bras I find have very thin straps which dont seem to be working or a bra that gives you that Madonna 1980s look. Anyone have a favorite!

I read another post that made me think. We are using MEP 1 and 3 this year and I am wondering since this is not s US program is there anything not covered that I should add in?

I am looking for something with a little moe Christian perspective. I have looked at Path to Exploration and it would be perfect if it was from a biblical standpoint. So far MFW seems to be good.

I would like to have as many planned out as I can. With AWOA everything except math and any extras like typing, free reading, foreign language all are scheduled in. The time period is another problem. With AWOA they cover from the beginning of time through the exploration period. I should say we are also using MOH1 right now to beef up the history of course that will only take us through the birth of Christ. I have also wondered where to go next year. The science goes along with the lessons not sure what type you would call it. For example the first unit is on Ancient Egypt so in science they are learning about deserts and the climates and plant and animal life in the desert.

any other ideas out there?

This is were your faith has to be strong. The Lord tells us that it will come but if you trust in the Lord that it will be worth it all. I myself have had these feelings lately and I know that the time is growing nearer. Do not be afraid if you are walking with the Lord, but rejoice for all of our troubles will soon be over!!!!!

I could have written your post myself. Seriously the part about step kids and all. Keep praying for God to reveal himself to you and for Him to get all the glory in whatever happens and you will get what He wants you to have. Adoption is a wonderful thing especially when you think of all the children without families. I wish we had the finances to adopt but I guess that is not God's plan right now. Here is wishing you the best and putting you on our prayer list! -
Which choices would be LEAST teacher intensive??
thowell replied to hmschooling's topic in K-8 Curriculum Board
We are only a few weeks in but so far the projects have been pretty simple. The lessons themselves are very good and you could pick which projects you want to do. Most of the review comes from the notebooking and all the needed pages are included. Most lessons take us about 45 minutes to do. -

We are loving CGC but I find it has alot of teacher invlovement at this age. Especially if they want to do th projects. I do have dd9 use vocab words for some of her spelling or copywork. -

Glad to hear all was ok. have you asked your Dr about Topamax? It really worked miracles in my dd17.

I have been in your situation. My dd9 was an somewhat is exactly as you decribed. She was also in a Private school and the teachers just could not teach her. Everyone wanted a label put on her of ADD or ADHD. Now let me say that we do not believe in this diagnosis. That is just our opinion. I began to really pray for an answer. So like you we decided to HS. Cathy Duffy's reviews were a God send. What I began to realize is that there was nothing wrong with dd9 she just processed things in a different way from me. We researched and found programs that taught to her style. She is very hands on and does not process info by listening. She need to be shown. We are into our 6 week of HS and not only ios the problem working itself out with her school work but you can see a big difference in her everyday life. I also have come to understand that not all people are real independent people and my dd9 like the constant company of someone else. Yes this does require more of my time but that's ok if that is what she needs.I wish you the best and I would say that you should explore all your options (add, adhd, nutritional, etc.) and make you own decisions as to what is best for him. Good Luck!!
