My intended meaning of that statement was it will depend on your relationship with God and how his word translated to you as to which way you will feel is the truth. I think the reason people disagree is the difference in the translation they get when they read the scriptures. That is why I recomnmened that you rely on God to give you this answer instead of us mere mortals, Lol!

Thanks for the thoughts, I would never say anything bad about her mother to her. I do try to teach her our beliefs and let her know that is how we feel and everyone has different opinions and beliefs. It is hard though because we have two younger than her and of course her ways influence them. That is why I was hoping for a study to guide me through the word of God to teach these things so our girls would know it is not just from our lips and minds but from the heart of our Lord.

we use this as our main curriculum. It is a full curriculum if used completely with TM. I also use free extra worksheets for extra review. I do print all student workbook and TM for each student. I keep TMs in a big binder seperated by divider.

I also do my plans a week ahead of time. Here is what we do, I preview the next comming assignments depending on difficulty my girls normally do 1-2 pages per day. Math usually takes each girl about 30 minutes. 15 minutes instruction and example time with me and about 15 minutes of independent work to complete worksheets. With dd9 sometimes 15 minutes per worksheet.

Thanks for the link. I have also looked at MFW and have their catalog. Reading some of the post at the link has made me take another link. I saw an earlier post were someone said that the Bible was not the real focus and only weaved in a little. It seems to be a real focus from what I am reading. Is there anything other than the deluxe package and a math that I would need for a 2nd and 5th grader?

What does your lease say? When we rented out our home for a year we had a very specific lease that required a non refundable pet deposit. Also in Florida the landlord can not charge you for what is considered normal wear and tear. However if they can prove that your dog caused the damage you will probably have to foot the bill. But I think I would explore all my options before I put out that money. If you were not the first tenants how can they prove it was your dog. Also if you could not see any stains from the top of the carpet why did they pull it up? Sound as if they may be wanting you to pay for new carpet that was already needed due to flooding.

I am looking for a good study for young girls on virtues from a chrstian prospective. My step dd10 was here this weekend and it is a constant battle over how she wants to dress. Her mother does not dress in an appropriate manner IMO, and she is teaching her the same ways. I am always talking to my girls about things like this but I wanted something to kind of hold my hand to teach them from God's word. Any ideas?

:iagree: and very well said. Let me also add that satan's best weapon against us is his deceitful nature. Also dont foget it was satan that came and tempted Eve in the garden. However, it was her own sinful nature that acted on the sin. I believe satan will do all he can to trick us and make wrong seem right. It is up to us to rely on God and the Holy Spirit discernment to make the right choices. As far as demon pssesion, yes, I believe it is real. And I am Independent Baptist. Jesus cast out demons in the New Testament and I didnt see anywhere that we are told this no longer happens. You can definitely invite them into you through your actions. I dont know if satan can read our minds or not but if you think about and dwell on something long enough you are bound to follow through with your actions.

Wow sounds like you have already done alot. Maybe a nice break and then start slowly. If you only have a small time left on the dumpster I would start there and make sure everything is out. Just take smaller steps so you dont burn out. But way to go for you!!!
