Susan Wise Bauer
My boys are sitting at the breakfast table, discussing math. They've been transmogrified or replaced by aliens, or I'm on Candid Camera or something. SWB
Ria
It's unnatural, I'm telling you! Quick, give them something sugary. LOL. Ria
MamaT
If it's body snatchers, send them to my house. All I've done is referee grouchy kids this morning.
sleepy
Silly kids! You may have to put on some cartoons to snap them out of it. :D

Emmy
I've got one boy whining that copying latin words is too hard, one jumping around the house using a duplo airplane as a bazooka, and 2 hopping around eating cheerios begging for Dora......kids at the breakfast table discussing math sounds amazing to me right now. :glare:
WTMindy
You mean that isn't normal? Bwahahahahahahha!!!! Even the products (no pun intended) of two math majors don't do that!!

swellmomma
Oh man I wish! Right now the 3 oldest are running around discussing the baby's bowel issues this am, and trying to diagnosis her(fever and runs) while making a list of things they want me to pick up as I run out to get tylenol and diapers for said baby, because of course we are almost out of both. I wish they would sit down and talk about math instead.
Susan Wise Bauer
OK, I feel better. The math discussion is over and they're punching each other.
AnotherE
My son woke up earlier than usual and decided to pull out our history encyclopedias to do more research- for his novel.:001_huh: He is 10. This made me uncomfortable enough to try to distract him by bringing out his Diabolo yo-yo. Strange things are afoot, indeed. PinkInTheBlue
I know! It's bizarre when they get replaced like that. Much like my repeated recent shock when my 10yr old keeps saying at 10pm "Oh, I wish I could stay up just a little longer and read". Freaky, just freaky! Discussing math though, that's amazing. What planet are they from and can I get some? :)

Rose in BC
OK, I feel better. The math discussion is over and they're punching each other. What a relief! (Were they discussing how stupid math was and when would they ever need to use it anyway?)

Tutor
Well, if you manage to cast those math demons out, you are welcome to banish them to my children for awhile. We could just have a serial math demon exorcism. :D Edited February 25, 2009 by Tutor
