East Coast Sue
My dd16 is completing a research project to advance the Uncanny Valley hypothesis. You are welcome to forward the survey links to others through social media or homeschooling websites/blogs. Thank you for your time! (It is a brief survey, less than 2 minutes) If you can only complete one survey, please take Survey #1, if your birthday is Jan-Jun and take Survey #2 if your birthday is July-Dec. Taking both surveys is much appreciated!!! Jean in Newcastle
I always worry that I do these sorts of things "wrong". . . .
AMJ
Did both! Now I'm curious about what they were testing. I'm rather overly analytical, and I suspect part of what drove my answers are factors other than what they were testing. ETA: I also wonder about the use of the word "approachable". This does have a different meaning than the word "attractive", so I hope they aren't testing what people find attractive. I find my judgement of who is approachable is more in their expression and demeanor, not in their facial arrangement. DH literally went into a panic once when he had to take one of those psych evals for a job. He overanalyzes insanely and makes himself sick. I tell him, just answer it and move on, but he is "but they don't word the question clearly, it could mean this, it could mean that, it could mean rainbow toothpaste..." I felt so bad for him! ETA, he probably would come out like a serial killer or something, and he's really a very nice guy! I ended up making notes in the margins and explained some of my issues with the wording to the doc. I sort of had to explain when she came to collect one and I was laughing at my absurd imagining of what the question could mean.

Lady Florida.
I was going to take it but I see it's closed now so I have no idea what it was about. Glad she got enough participants.
