unsinkable
Yikes. How sad. I told DH and he said he hoped it wasn't drugs. :-( That article said unknown cause; she was found unresponsive. Might be anyhting?

PrincessMommy
very sad. I loved Happy Days as a kid. Never watched the spin-off though. She did seem to have some difficult things in her life. May she rest in peace.
Anne in CA
I wish Henry Winkler had kept his thoughts to himself. I will pray for her family.

Catwoman
I'm sorry to hear that she died. It sounds like she led a very hard and unhealthy lifestyle. :( She was so cute and charming on Happy Days. It's so sad that her life turned out the way it did.
DawnM
I wish Henry Winkler had kept his thoughts to himself. I will pray for her family. I didn't think he said anything bad. I watched a special with her a few years ago, I think she had just turned 50. She looked like she was 70. She was gaunt and living in a run down trailer. Catwoman
Update: According to this report, Erin Moran died of stage 4 cancer. :( The report didn't specify what kind of cancer she had. http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/autopsy-erin-moran-likely-died-of-cancer/ar-BBAh8YT?li=BBnb7Kz
Annie G
There seems to be more to the story. Paul Petersen said several people from his organization tried to help her in the past week or so.Not sure what that was all about. She had a husband and surely she had some kind of health care, Medicaid if nothing else. Poor woman- cancer is a tough way to go.
Lady Florida.
I wish Henry Winkler had kept his thoughts to himself. I will pray for her family. Actually, I think Scott Baio is the one who should have kept his thoughts to himself.
