PollyOR
I have adult children. The one with her own children is much more sympathetic as she has learned how hard it is to be a parent. The young adults without children can be hurtful at times. They'll find out. Adding to your hug stash. :grouphug:

Guest
I have been thinking about this all day - are you feeling better? Sometimes a little time and a good cry help, but sometimes we just need more time, chocolate, and prayers than one afternoon to be able to shoulder the things we find in our lives. Let us know how we can help, even if it is just online hugs and advice and prayers :(
Miss Mousie
Ugh, hearing hard things from the kids. I dread the day DS speaks up about all my hurtful missteps. Being a parent is hands-down the most difficult "project" I've ever undertaken ... and sometimes I've messed it up badly. Happi duck, I hope you're feeling a little less raw this morning, but either way, here are a few more hugs to get you rolling. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

happi duck
Hugs Some day, your children will understand. Then, their family experience will help them to be better people. And with that understanding will come wonder, and forgiveness. Nan Could you please remove the quote of my op when you have a chance? Thanks

happi duck
Thanks for the hugs. I'm just having a quiet day today and debating (ha!) skipping the debate for my health. I'm still weepy but better than yesterday. I visited my mom's grave yesterday. It's in a beautiful forest. Thanks again...I really appreciate it.
MyLittleBears
Happi Duck. Just wanted to say what a brat I was to my mom when I was younger. Later came the wisdom and deep appreciation for her. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. Sometime kids just have some maturing to do, KWIM? Your mom's grave site sounds beautiful! :grouphug:

Evergreen State Sue
I'm imagining I'm giving you a hug . . . can you feel it? Because I need one too and I can feel it right back. Blessings.
