Sahamamama
For about the past two years, we've had a subscription to Big Backyard and Ranger Rick. The girls enjoy both of these, but we think it's time for a change. We'd like to get them a subscription to a monthly magazine or two, as a birthday present (January & February). Any ideas? Our oldest daughter (will be 8 in February, reads super well) is interested in American history. :patriot: Our twin daughters enjoy animals, science, nature, Bible stories, rebus stories, riddles and jokes. :D :D

Holly
We just got a trial issue of Nature Friends (for $5) and a free trial issue of Creation Illustrated. I think we're going to subscribe to both, but Nature Friends seemed more appropriate for their ages.

Rebecca VA
Nature Friend sounds perfect for your children. My daughter's favorite feature was "Draw This ______ (Animal of the Month)." The magazine would show the reader how to draw it step by step. Readers were encouraged to send in their drawings for possible inclusion in a future issue.
