Remudamom
Yuk? Good?
PinkInTheBlue
Good. The only good such thing I've ever tried. Didn't care for it in a hot beverage.
Chris in VA
I tried it (it's stevia-based, right?) but it upset my tum. I use Ideal, which is xylitol-based. Good sweetness, no upset.
Catwoman
My dh tried it and said it had a bitter aftertaste. He prefers Splenda.
Matryoshka
I use stevia, but I don't like the Truvia brand. I prefer SweetLeaf. I also hear NuNaturals is very good.
*lifeoftheparty*
I like it! And I'm very picky :) I put it in my Tea, Coffee, whatever....
Momof3littles
I prefer using NuNaturals stevia (the straight stuff, not cut with maltodextrin) and erythritol. Same ingredients as Truvia but I like the taste of these two combined much better than Truvia. I keep truvia packets on hand once in a while but when I bake I use erythritol and NuNaturals. I like buying my erythritol from Global Sweet because they offer a non GMO product sourced from the US.
RoughCollie
I use it in coffee. Not better than sugar, but better than Equal.
Chocolate Rose
I started using Truvia about a month ago because I had to give up sugar and want to stay away from artificial sweeteners. So far, it's working just fine. I have heard that if you use too much you end up with the bitter aftertaste.
Stayseeliz
Stevia is natural and safe. Splenda is not. We're weaning ourselves off splenda and aspartame right now. I've heard that Truvia is not the best stevia option out there. When I find some nu naturals I'm going to buy it!
Lucy the Valiant
I switched to Truvia from Splenda in my coffee every morning. It tastes less sweet to me, which I prefer.
yobella
I like it. I make hot chocolate with it and my kids love it. Just some cocoa powder and truvia in warm milk. I also like it in iced or hot tea. Paula
1bassoon
I use it - and make my sweet tea with it! ;) Works for me!
LBS
I love it. I've been using the packets, tried every brand: W-M, Sam's, etc. I do not taste any bitterness or off taste. I found a large, spice type container of it at Trader Joe's tonight, that will make it more cost effective, easy to spoon or sprinkle. Great idea. I did research on it, and came up with stories about it being used for many years in other countries, and lots of puzzling about why it took so long to become approved for sale here.....conjecture that appoval was held up by another sweetener company, that advertises being naturally derived....can't remember all the facts, but I did come away liking what I read about Stevia. Funny that most of the brands of little packets of Stevia are green, and there are already white, blue, yellow and pink packets on the tables in restaurants. What a rainbow! Stayseeliz
I don't think Splenda is in the same category as aspartame. Do a little bit of research on splenda. It's not a natural sweetener.
